oh,,, Sorry, I was wrong... Just don't use automatic oiling mod Only: "Auto Oil" mod+"Full Animation" mod = Auto Oil Only: "Oil Application Keybindings mod"+"Full animation" mod = Active oiling
then: set: 12 keys bound to the same key [Combat] IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyBeastOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyCursedOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyDraconideOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyHangedManVenom) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyHybridOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyInsectoidOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyMagicalsOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyNecrophageOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyOgreOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyRelicOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplySpecterOil) IK_v=(Action=OAKApplyVampireOil)
If you decide to make a version for the enhanced edition, I would love a manual version of the auto-oil option that makes you press a key to have the correct oil applied instead of just automatically applying it every time. A nice little midpoint between the fully automated oiling feature and the fully manual way of doing it with keybinds.
Damn This is really awesome mod! Thank you so much! By the way, this working with:
1. Community Patch - Besserwisser's Fix Collection (Including Nitpickers Patch) 2. Brothers In Arms - TW3 Ultimate Bug Fix Collaboration
So I just merged it with Script Merger and it's working perfectly.
Also, boys and girls if you were lost like I before installing... You just need to find in the file "input settings" the line "Combat" and "Exploration" and paste it after all the text as I did. It actually no matter where exactly you will paste the key bindings, but you should paste it right under "Combat" and "Exploration" names. Cheers.
Thank you. I initially thought of it because I was getting tired of opening my inventory every time I needed to reapply an oil because it was breaking the "flow" of the fight, but now that I'm doing a playthrough with this mod I'm noticing that it adds an additional challenge to the combat system, because on top of checking how many charges of oil you have left you also need to remember the keybind for the oil and pressing it while dodging and hitting. This makes the fight more engaging in my opinion.
With that being said I agree with you: being able to apply oil to the blade mid-fight is not immersive.
