Hi, would you consider this mod better or worse than Griffin Set - Slim Version? How is your mod different from the mentioned one? From the looks of it, the main difference is that your mod does not change the material it is made from and the armor is also not as curved as in the second mod
The main difference between the two mods is the shape of the chestpiece: While the breastplate in Slimmer Griffin Armor is slimmed down, it does not cave in at any point - it is completely convex, straight at most. The breastplate in Griffin Set - Slim Version is curved slightly inwards, which would be very inconvenient for plate armor in real life.
Plus, there are a number of visual imperfections in GSSV (see image linked above) that really kept bugging me out once I had noticed them.
And then there's Fix Gryphon Armor by RayDess, which sports floating leather straps: https://imgur.com/OSibkZ8 Also, the breastplate's shape is not entirely consistent across enhancements. I would have loved to just use that otherwise excellent mod, but unfortunately I have pretty severe OCD... So here we are.
T5 looks odd when using On the Path mod. The shoulderpads(?) are some purpleish color for whatever reason. Thing is, it happens with all slim griffin mods, so I'm really not sure what's the problem (i'd guess OTP lol), still decided to post this here because this mod is the best out of all of them and its supposed to have OTP support, but yea. It's also present in the screenshots on this page funnily enough. ig im rockin the goofy beer belly for t5 because vanilla griffin is just too horrendous, very unfortunate :(
edit: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/8669 this seems like a good alternative
Thank you, Fredd! Your adjustments to the armor are priceless and I can't thank you enough.
It works with 4.04 but I notice in some of the comments a common issue:
If you can't see the changes in game make sure you have installed the folder "modSlenderGriffinArmor" which is inside the main folder you downloaded "SlimmerGriffinArmor." If you just drop the main folder it won't be recognized.
As an extra step (hopefully you don't need it) use Scriptmerge to set a higher priority for the mod. I personally didn't need to set a higher priority to see the changes but there's that option in case it's not working for you guys.
Yes, dying it should not be a problem at all. It definitely isn't on my end. Do you have any other mods installed that may affect dyes or the Griffin armor?
I don't think so, here is an image of active mods.
I really love your mod, since my favorite armor is Griffin armor, I love playing with spells, but hell is it ugly without the mod. Also I like maching coat with that armor, full white for example. I is it possible to contact you on discord so you can help me fix this bug?
I´m trying it on 4.02 but it seems it isnt working. Could it be a problem on my side?
EDIT: It was Vortex, installing it manually works. The problem is that the .zip has an extra folder, "Slimmer Griffin Armor", which breaks the Vortex installation.
The author pack the mod that cannot be use with mod manager. You need to install manually by first extract it, take it's "mod[...]" and drag to the "Mods" folder of the game.

Cheers.
When I upgraded it to Grandmaster gear, the color disappeared.
Can't seem to dye it again.
Is it even possible to dye it?

Thanks for answering so quickly.
Thanks for the answer TheFreddman, and I hope this comment will help anyone understand the issue if they stumble on it.

It's a pity that the mod author can't create archives correctly

I'm on the latest version of Steam (4.04 I think) and it doesn't work. Solutions?
