On one hand, she does look a lot more like her poster. It seems a lot of the changes you made fit the lore better. On the other, Phillip says she has "2 score winters behind her" - a score is 20, so she is in her 40s. She looks more like she's in her 60s. However, we can headcanon that this is not necessarily incorrect (mild spoilers ahead):
- She's led a hard life: she has been physically abused for who-knows-how-long. - Phillip drinks like a fish, perhaps his wife is also alcoholic (practically everyone in this game seems to be alcoholic). Couples that drink together, stink together (that will certainly age you more quickly)! - By the time we meet her in the game, she has endured a curse/been manipulated by dark and twisted magicks, that'll put some extra miles on ya.
So some thoughtful constructive criticism: - Perhaps if her hair base color was black, brown or dirty blonde but still heavily streaked with gray/white hairs, she would look more her age. The full-gray head really contributes a lot to her looking elderly. - Her picture in the glossary is still Granny. Maybe you could figure out how to replace that asset, and get a good BlitzFX or Next-Gen RT-rendered screenshot of YOUR Anna, apply a filter to make it look a little more painted/hand drawn, and use that to swap in a better matching glossary image? There are probably some screen archers out there who would be willing to help with that.
Great mod idea! I always thought it was weird that Strenger's wife looks like a shriveled grandma, it didn't make a lot of sense. If her hair went white I suppose you could touch up the face a bit to add white/grey eyebrows and remove some of the pinkness on her cheeks, but as-is I think this looks good. Will add to my next play through!
It always struck me as odd how old Anna looks. Per game dialogue, she should be only around 40. She looks 70 in the game. Could you consider creating a younger looking version of Anna, like you did with Marlene?
