Hi! I've installed the Lazarus merge and after a few attempts (was missing the fhud mappins) it runs! I'm having an issue though. Poise doesn't Regen, just gets lower and lower into the negatives. As a result, I can't really parry effectively and can't counterattack at all. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to update this mod in a while; it's made for GOTY, not NextGen.

Are the armor sets from Full Metal Witcher by InExilium/Reaperrzs still in this edition of the EE merge?

Around 2019 Reaperrz seemed to indicate that InExliliums armors had been integrated into EE, but I haven't had time to play it until now, but only really want the armors.

Any info would be appreciated. Would love to see screenshots if anyone has any; never actually seen the armors in action outside of the devs showing them off.

actually, i dont know what versions of some of the mods I'm suppose to install, modular eyes has many versions and nothing in either the note or install say which one. For the multi companion mod it was stated that its the 3.1.8 version but when i looked its gone replaced with the latest version for the classic W3. I'm sorry for the lack of ability on my part I'm very new at modding Witcher 3.

Edit: i think i found a way to mod W3 the way i wanted :3 took like 6 or 7 hours but i think i did it XD

I'm glad for your success, though I think you've found out why this was a challenging merge to begin with.  I was not using Script Merger; I was using pro tools like VSCode, and it still took me a while where simply selecting the conflicting mod's A or B or A+B wasn't enough, but things had to be rewritten a bit to get the functionality in.

The reason I consider MCM integral is because of W3EE's de-leveled approach which already makes it challenging.  With RER added with Aefderaedd's presets, the difficulty rises greatly.  Granted, I make stamina and slowdown rise and fall together which makes W3EE's attacks  feel more like an improved stock, and that reduces challenge a bit, but still:  you *will* need to use every prep and buff.  You *will* need to scout the area and have a plan. It's more like Geralt in the books.

...And sometimes, Geralt is just going to need help.  That's why there's MCM.

Obviously there are tunables that you can change to account for the lack of MCM.  Are Aefderaedd's  preference presets still helpful with what you've done?

    This looks awesome,
Can you use Lazarus with it? I read already there's an old version but... I'm not sure what to do, lol...
(idk, maybe Lazarus isn't even worth it)
edit: nvm, I'll just skip Lazarus.

There is an old version, but I'm not sure where Lazarus is going.  When I have the toolchain rebuilt, I'll look into Lazarus and W3EE Redux (Simplified!) and how well they integrate.  Aeltoth, the author of RER, has done good work integrating with them, and Aefderaedd's role is to integrate and balance yet more mods, and provide tweaks and default presets that make W3EE feel more natural to those used to stock.  When I get a chance to reinvent it, I'll see which member of the W3EE family tree is ready for it.

Does this work with the next gen version?

It does not, at this time.  I have to rebuild a toolchain and account for changes in the component author's needs and distribution methods.  That's doable.  If you gather Aefderaedd's components for the next gen and Aefderaedd itself and do a merge, you'll find it quite helpful.  Some of the merging done couldn't just mash up lines of code; they had to be thoughtfully rewritten.  You're welcome to use that for a NextGen merge.

Hello, first of all thank you for this! It looks like it was a lot of work to get such massive mods compatible together.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with an error I'm having. After installing per the instructions, I'm getting this script compilation error on attempting to start the game - doing the Lazarus version BTW.

Error [mod0200_aefderaedd_493_lazarus]game\gameplay\items\itementity.ws(719): Unknown base class 'W3NaturalTorchlight'
Error [mod0200_aefderaedd_493_lazarus]game\gameplay\items\itementity.ws(944): Unknown base class 'W3SmartLamp'

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Guys, if you are getting errors, probably you need to install the mods, STRICTLY, in the SAME ORDER recommended by the author. I tried to install  diferently, but only got the job done by folowing the recomendation, didn't get any conflicts, nor did I need to run the Script Merger.

It´s seems like magic having all this mods integrated with W3EE (lol), I can only imagine how much effort AefderAine putt in this project. Thanks a lot man!!!!

Glad to hear this feedback!  Yes, I do stand by my recommendations - a proper merge is superior to mod ordering, and trying to use mod ordering can only reduce your chances with Aefderaedd.  I had great time with this merge and its special sauce!

Were you using more recent versions of the component mods??  I can only imagine how all the newest material might come together!

Most of these comments are just requests for features or help, but I just want to say that merging all of these mods (along with Project Lazarus) is extremely impressive and has immeasurably improved my time playing and my own sanity from try to merge just two of these fantastic mods.

I'm glad that this is your experience when so many of the component mods have seen updates or changed their distribution method since I last updated.

When I first played this merge, before deciding to package it for others, I simply had so much fun tuning everything in what became Aefderaedd defaults.  I felt W3EE's original stamina and speed settings were less accessible, and I felt RER could be tuned to feel more like how the game Should Have Been.  I don't know how many people prefer Aefderaedd defaults; I didn't want to force them, or restrict the component mods from develop their way.

As soon as time allows, I'll be keen to make a new Aefderaedd release when the nextgen update comes from CDProjektRed.

    Hello,

Looking for the best mod set for the game I came here, and I realized the last W3EE version is 5.0.3, do you have any plans for updating this mod?

    Does this include W3EE Redux?

    Thank you

I do have improvements in mind; I have to rebuild my setup, and decide what to do about changes in how the component mods' authors are distributing their work.  In the meantime, I believe you could try updated versions of its components and have far less work merging them with Aefderaedd than without.  Their updates shouldn't conflict with the merge.
