Thank you for this mod; it was just what I was hoping for.
Unfortunately, I can't make it work. First, I discovered that the "input settings" in the document file needed to be made "Read Only" for it to work. Once that was corrected all the options appeared in the "Options" menu. I set the intensities to 400 but nothing changed. It doesn't say to activate the "Cat" potion before toggling the mod, but I tried F10 both with "Cat" selected and without selecting "Cat". Nothing happened.
I find playing in the dark very hard on my eyes, so I wanted a mod that essentially allowed me to play in "daylight" all the time. Your mod seemed to be the closest thing to it, but for some reason, that is beyond my simple modding knowledge, I can't make it work (I've been trying to do so for the 4 days).
If nothing else, please let me know if the "Cat Potion" needs to be activated before your mod will work .
Thank you so much!! It took me some time to understand how to modify the settings, it would be nice to have some basic tutorial. But now, I finally have a cat vision based on human enhanced ability ^^
Geralt still sees colours (but desaturated) as it is supposed to intensify the lights, the brightness is a bit up to reflect that. And cherry on the top: I can finally reduce the intensity and choose the colour of enlighted ennemies and loot.
Thanks man. Just want I needed. I don't know why the vanilla cat potion is so dark. I got tired of trying to mess with my gamma settings just for caves and found this gem. Good work!
Thank you for this!!!! What an amazing tool... very well thought out.... i was a bit daunted at first but fck it... im going in!!! XD Gonna customise my own ideal vision of Cat.... It would be really nice to have some decent presets perhaps to achieve some suggested looks.... the tools are so vast it might be hard for people to work out a great look... also... it would be amazing if you made a similar mod covering the options of witcher sense... I know there are some out there but they dont seem to offer crucial features like adjusting the hideous witcher highlights. so it would ba amazing :)
Thanks! About the witcher senses, i do not quite understand what you are talking about, but see my other mod - Immersive Witcher Senses More screenshots
aah... thats you too!! Can you change the color of the highlighted items in witcher sense with that mod? This is what Im trying to do... i find the yellow highlight terrible...
Btw... i been playing with this mod... getting a great effect.... brilliant tool... thank u so much for making it
hmmm yes... ive seen that... i can try it... thank you for the suggestion.... do you have any plans to roll this functionality into your mod? I think it would be very good. This cat mod has so many detailed options.... would love to have that for focus too.... id rly love to install your merged mod... ill be trying out the stand alone sense mod later... thanks :)
That mod you posted for the highlight colour works great.... thank you for the suggestion.... Please consider rolling this functionality into your mod... seems a good fit and you already have something very similar on the cat potion. The mod i used could feel quite unnaccessable to some people... sould be great to do it in the sliders. However Im getting the look i want now so thanks.
I tried installing the stand alone sense mod along with cat... i can see why u made a merged version lol... Ill try that one later and see what features u put in.... thank you again for these great mods.... Im loving the look for cat that Im getting .... Ill try to post a couple screenshots when i get it just right.... would still love a config file to see how you got hte effects in the screenshots... im still learning exactly what each slider does lol.... looking grat tho... nice challenge :)
I cannot include this functionality in my mod because my mod works with scripts, and we can customize scripts variables in the game, but Witcher 3 Witcher Sense Color Customizer works with bundles, unpack bundle and customize files in bundle we can only when the game is not running.
ok... thanks for the reply!!! Yes i used that mod and it works great... thanks for recommending it.... still havent tried the focus mod yet tho i absolutely love the cat mod... want to write down my config before putting in the merge version incase it forgets my settings... taking a couple days break from modding lol... thank you again for this great mod. Hope u r planning to do more cool stuff... lol... modders... always wanting more XD
Unfortunately, I did not save the settings as in the screenshots, but I remember that I set "Desaturation Intensity (in%)" to "100%", and in "Tint Settings" I made "Red" less than "Green and Blue", maybe "Red - 150, Green 200, Blue - 255"
its ok... just thought it looked cool... ive made mine blue and dreamy... so nice... looks great day or night.... turned up the fog a little and messed with the configs... still working on it.... i put my desaturation to 66% and when u use witcher sense while in cat u get an amazing blend of the 2 effects.... combined with the glow effect u told me about... its really shaping up... still havent tried this sense mod yet... will get it in asap... took a little break last couple days but now back to it... so nice to be able to talk... so many modders are long gone lol.... thank you again for all this!!!! I appreciate it so much
