Wao this is amazing ! could you fix the "Old pals quest" please, when you trigger the quest by playing gwent against zoltan and win, the objective "Win a unique card from Zoltan." does not appear... Also in "Scavenger Hunt: Wolf School Gear/Part1" After examining the wolf marker at Crow's Perch, the objective will duplicate as "Find the silver sword upgrade diagram using your Witcher Senses." entry instead of "Find the silver sword upgrade diagram." like other scavenger hunts. would be amazing if you could fix this
Agree with vincemeister55. Mod author Klubargutan has already answered this numerous times in other posts. It is not difficult at all to merge mods using Wolvenkit. My opinion on this is that Klubargutan's time is better spent finding and fixing the bugs rather than the non-value added process of compiling and managing the mods. If you want them merged, you can spend the time yourself to do it.
It would be pointless to merge them now because he's not done. Every two days is a new mod added to the pile. Would only make sense for a merge (and, IMO a release) when it's all completed.
That being said, he could get hit by bus tomorrow and we'd have been left with nothing if he had waited, so... yay for fixes!
Merging is important for users like me who use a lot of mods. Currently, I have 240+ mods installed. Even with the mod limit fix, the game has a hard limit. Even the tiniest bundle/texture files greatly affect the count. Everytime there's a new fix release, I just add them to my already merged file.
Oh yeah, no doubt for us users, having them all merged is a boon, as the mod limit is still real. I meant it would be pointless for our dear author to merge them, as he would either have to wait until he's 100% done or else keep updating the mod download every couple days over and over again.
@flister - this is the post of the night. So true. I don't think everyone understands how much time and effort goes into managing the mods that we upload and share on here. It is not a great use of Klubargatan's time to continually update and merge mods. I would rather let those skills go to finding and fixing bugs. We can merge the mods ourselves if we want.
Many fixes have already accumulated, maybe at least some can be endorsed? Btw. I even told you how to merge them;)
@maximumcore in that case i request all my fixes to be endorsed, then i'll think about your request...you know, merging and managing mods takes a lot more time than making some clicks;)
@vincemeister, flixter + kudos for high iq (paulr, you already have them :D )
My rule of thumb for endorsements is this: if it works, I endorse. If it doesn't, I report it and give the mod author time to fix it. If they fix it, I endorse. Only time I won't endorse a mod is if it is one that flat out doesn't work and the author refuses (or is unable) to fix it.
I don't think it's too much to ask to endorse the hard work that modders put in, particularly since we do this nearly 100% for free because we are passionate about a project and the community.
So keep up the good work, Klubargutan. I would endorse your mods twice if it would let me.
@paulr ->precisely! I do exactly the same with endorses:) even if i am not a fan of some edits/mods, but i used/tried them, i leave a thumb up. I am merely being a bit "rudish" towards people who come here and incessantly request me to do more fixes for them or to merge my mods for them...but they don't even bother to click endorse themselves;) I'd understand if you had limited endorses or were paying stuff for endorses....but it literally takes 1 click per mod once you are prompted to endorse your newest downloads every now and then:)
Exactly! There are lots of mods that I don't use for a variety of reasons. But that is my choice and not the fault of the modder who created it. That is why I adopted the philosophy of endorsing if it works. Sometimes I even download mods so I can crack them open and see how they work (I always endorse those even if I don't test them in game, which is often the case). I am still learning the modding ropes, and I am self-taught on about 75% of what I know. Seeing how a modder solved a problem is a great way for me to learn and push forward with my own contributions to the community. That is why I wish we could endorse more than once. At least make it so we can endorse once per unique file rather than once per page.
There are two things I've learned on this site: 1. Endorse 2. Always credit work that isn't yours
Well, three things: 3: Asking nicely/politely goes a LONG way towards getting what you want. ;-)
This one seems to be a glitch and not a bug. It's pretty well documented on the web and nearly everyone is saying to reload and go pick it up, and the quest will complete. If you saved afterward ... well ... it's part of your save file and you're probably locked out. But for future reference, reload when it happens.
It doesn't seem like something we can fix because it's not like the devs forgot to point to it. It does work - most of the time. Just whatever causes it to glitch makes it problematic. But save often, utilize autosaves, and reload when you need to.

Amazing. CDPR should have hired you.
