Within script merger there is conflict between your mod and two other mods that are laid out like this:modGMWolfCraftFix, modNGPfix, modZzBesserwisser under Bundled Text conflicts. Is that ok or should I change it?

Ah, finally someone fixed that annoying Nickel bug. Thanks so much.
A few other NGP bugs I have encountered (some of which might possibly be caused by mods I use):

    • Lots of missing NGP Witcher Wolf set diagrams when you collect them from world locations. This might be caused by the weird mix of NGP and non-NGP diagrams collected at the same time (The wolf set is the only set that has a mix of both diagram types in NGP). I always need to add the missing NGP diagrams with console commands. It would actually have been better if this mix of diagrams was the case with the Manticore set, which is the only set that has a different appearance for the NGP and non-NGP sets.
    • The crafted Viper set trousers in NGP has the NGP stats but is not labelled as legendary.
    • Unrelated to NGP, it would be nice if someone could fix the food item pepper labels, which uses the same generic "peppers" label for black pepper and bell peppers, making it impossible to distinguish between them in merchant inventories.

Hey bud, I took a look at #2 (Viper trousers not labelled as legendary in NG+) because I've done some modding on this gear.  I don't see what you mean.  It has the tag mod_legendary attached to it.  Can you give me some more details?

Hey Paul. It may be a bug inflicted by a mod I use (Craft Starting Gear, or Upgradeable Kaer Morhen Gear for example). When I craft the full Viper set (armor, boots, trousers and gloves) in NGP all the crafted gear in the inventory show as Legendary Viper gear, except for the trousers, which simply says Viper trousers, even though the stats are that of Legendary Viper trousers. If I remember correctly, the trousers have the right label in the crafting menu. The issue is only in the inventory view.

Nvm, I just managed to reload my old NGP save where I encountered this issue (I first had to find the right missing DLC) and the issue managed to disappear with the current mod setup I have. So, probably not a general NGP issue then.

It seems I got excited too early about the Nickel ore bug fix. I have just tried it out in a freshly started NG+ (heavily modded) and the bug persisted.

Has anyone else had any success?

I have had all the success.

In the description tab, there's a headline called "installation", with a sentence "remember to resolve conflicts using a script merger! The XML conflicts can only be resolved manually in most cases."

If you're using a "heavily modded game", it's the absolute basics to check the conflicts right after you install the mods. For example, with this file, I have a conflict with besserweiser that i had to resolve manually. The simplest way to clearly tell if something is not working, is by uninstalling all the conflicting mods (or all the mods) and trying it again, just to be sure;)

Sorry Klubargutan, I was playing around with mods until very late last night and I must have been cross-eyed by the time I ran the merger on this mod, because I missed the Besserwisser conflict.
I am running 150+ mods and have never missed a merge before. Noob mistake -_-

    He's back!
Personally never play NG+, but fixes are fixes, so downloaded and endorsed anyway, nice work. Looking forward to the upcoming fixes

For your wolvenkit issues, I know there are different versions that work (and dont!) with different things. Theres the latest github version and the nexus version, but have you tried the CDPR modding discord (formerly Glitcher?) Theres some WKit experts there, including people who are involved in its development

It's so unfair that a single person like you has to go in and fix all these really stupid bugs that the devs left behind. You're literally cleaning up all their messes.
You're awesome, man. CDPR doesn't deserve you.

Why would it be unfair? Everyone can get a wolvenkit and fix things that annoy them. That is what i do:) - i simply share them here as well. The bugs that I fix are so small that i wouldn't blame CDPR - they were underpaid, with a small dev team, a very short development time and they gave us probably the best rpg/singleplayer only game ever. The few flaws that i fix are nothing compared to the entire game (and also, i skipped some unused/probably forgotten things that i could have also fixed, but are so tiny i didn't mind them myself).

If i was paid to go through the quests and fix missing journal entries or conversations (even just simple geralt's lines) etc, i wouldn't mind at all. Unfortunately, here is where CDPR sucks - they ended support for the game already.

It feels unfair because of what you said, they ended support for the game already, which means they gave up on truly polishing this game of theirs. And instead, they decided that they'll just release the public modkit and allow the community to do what they won't do. That in my eyes sucks. Now, if people are coming up with mods that change the way the game plays, that's fine. CDPR isn't at fault for something like that. But when a member of the community, such as yourself, is literally cleaning up after them with a broom and a dustpan, that's when it feels unfair and crappy. And the issues that you've fixed are actually quite big to me. Whole missing dialogues and malfunctioning tidbits here and there. And I know it's not possible that the devs can find and patch all the bugs in the game, obviously that's not realistic. But even someone like ME, who has no experience modding/scripting at all has found bugs in the code through uncooking bundled files. That's insane. That really sucks. So yeah, really good on you for doing all this hard work. Truly appreciated. :)
