This mod, much like the Gwent - Triss Card Scorch Ability mod that grants her card the scorch ability for just one row of combat, seems to be incompatible with Next Gen. The deck disappears, and the mini-game cannot be played.
It was mentioned in the posts on that mod that this could be because of the new roach card for players that have it. I have tried using both mods (separately of course) to no avail. I would love to have something like this in the game, always felt like Triss's card got gypped.
?To the mod author: Is this something you would be willing to patch or find a work around to?
"*note, the card pretext will state "discards card apon playing" however, this is not the case, I'm not sure how to edit that line of text atm*". I think this is due to the effect being applied to Triss probably being the same as the common "special" scorch card. The clan dimun pirate of the skellige deck has the same ability without the "discard card upon playing" portion in the description, perhaps this is worth a look into?
Love the mod, I was wondering if I could make a request? Would it be possible to get a version where your mod replaces the card portrait for Triss from the Ballad Heros Additional Gwent Card Set which was a part of the free DLC. When you turn that option on it overrides your mods portrait which looks much better
Hello , Rangeout thank you so much for this mod , May I ask how you can customize gwent cards ? I need this because I have a mod makes triss power 10 instead of 7 , now I need to customize Yennefer Card to 10 instead 7 too.. Can you please help me sir ?
Uncook game files (Do a quick internet search how) Navigate the uncooked files, Uncooked\gameplay\items\def_item_gwint.xml Search yen (control+f) edit strength value to 10 from 7 Cook the mod (make sure the file structure is correct, you may want to consider unpacking this mod to reverse engineer the correct file structure) Add to mod manager, run script merger Profit
If you get stuck feel to ask for help. I can make it for you want but if you are serious about leaning how to manipulate the game files I encourage you to make it yourself!
*note* You will also have to edit Uncooked\gameplay\items_plus\def_item_gwint.xml if you want new game plus support
