There's a more advanced version of this mod by jerry18 with selectable ranges, toggle-able yrden follows etc, I recommend checking that out instead of this basic version!
It's easy to make a 50% version or any other version for a mod like this. Open the yrdenEntity.ws with a text editor and look for this line(#927): yrdenRange = yrdenRange*2; Replace 2 with another value and save
If I make this change, will the Yrden cast in Griffin armor be increased according to vanilla value or this modified one? So i.e I modified vanilla value to 1.5x, Griffins is i.e. 1.5x of vanilla, will new Griffin one be unaffected and 1.5x of vanilla or it will be 1.5x1.5 = 2.25x vanilla size?
I have just tested it with Grandmaster Griffin Set = it works functionally but when you cast Yrden it will make both yrden variants together (screenshot below). It means even if I stay outside of the smaller circle but inside of the great one I still have its bonus (see Aura on my character on the screenshot). Although it is just a visual issue it will be nice to have it fixed.
Another idea - I think 100% more size of yrden is too much it will be great to have something like 50% too.
I am currently using edited version by me with 50% increased range for the "Basic" Yrden (100% is Vanilla / 150% with this mod). "Griffin" Yrden is quite the same as Vanilla -> there is just a minor adjustment to ~150% (from 140%) because I wasn't able to find the data to visually resize the "Griffin circle". ...after testing I finally made it to fit together visually the Basic and Griffin Yrden signs which are casted with Griffin set at the same time.
In the end I think only the Basic Yrden was too small not the Griffin one (at least for me).
If anybody wants try - Extended Yrden Radius (1.5x) ...I edited and used just one of the two files in the original mod so I hope it is ok. Comparison Screenshots with Vanilla.
EDIT: Next Gen version I made (also for Quen sign) and many new options is HERE.
Actually I think the smaller circle when it spawns on the enemy is just perfect. If it's the same size as the main one, then it becomes to OP. This is a good trade-off IMO. Also, The size is incredibly reasonable. I think 50% might not be too different from the base version. Whereas with this 2x larger version, I can perfectly battle an entire pack of dogs, nekkers, drowners, etc all within the circle if I stand directly in the middle, and it makes battles with larger monsters like Elementals feel very fair because of how large they are. I feel like this mod is just perfect. But I guess the smaller option would be nicer for some people who find it too large.
Zowbaid:"Actually I think the smaller circle when it spawns on the enemy is just perfect. If it's the same size as the main one, then it becomes to OP."
I am curious what do you exactly mean by this? Are you talking about the original mod and ...normal or Griffin Yrden? Because there is just a visual issue with Griffin Yrden in the original mod = this bonus still counts up to the larger circle, not the smaller (=full) one. -> Is this what you mean when saying"...it becomes to OP." and thinking it ends with the full circle?
Anyone knows how to put this percentage as an armor bonus? Something like: slashing_resistance_perc type="base" always_random="false" min="0.20" max="0.20"/>
Hey, I have a problem with Yrden : Geralt only places a single sign between his feet instead of a circle ( I'm referring to the base sign here), and I don't know how to fix it. I assumed this mod would somehow bring the circle back but it didn't :( Do you have any suggestions/solution?

Extended Yrden - NEXT GEN
Open the yrdenEntity.ws with a text editor and look for this line(#927):
yrdenRange = yrdenRange*2;
Replace 2 with another value and save
So i.e I modified vanilla value to 1.5x, Griffins is i.e. 1.5x of vanilla, will new Griffin one be unaffected and 1.5x of vanilla or it will be
1.5x1.5 = 2.25x vanilla size?
so it would be (value * griffin) * mod_value
