This mod is fantastic! Did you know that there is a usable oil lamp in W3?
I was wondering, can oil lamps expiring be added to the script (so that you have 2 items with 2 different durations) or is it more complicated than that?
I tried duplicating your mod & dlc, and editing for lamps, but can only get 1 item or the other to work.
Hey, cool mod. Used to bother me how the torches never burnt out. Just a suggestion, not a request. Haft is craftable and fiber is listed as a crafting ingredient but not present in any recipes. If you replace the required ingredients timber and thread with haft and fiber, you will be giving the two useless junk items in the game somewhat of a purpose.
Amazing mod, very useful. I was thinking that it would be nicer if the torch can be crafted with meditation, so like an alchemical object... I mean you don't need a blacksmith to craft a torch. But the way amazing!
Your mod works wonderfully well. Even when you put the torch away during combat or by purpose the timer is still running. The only thing I do not like is the long time each torche can burn. The 25-35 minutes are in play time not in game time, so I think 1-2 minutes would have been better. Luckily everyone can change this by editing the file Torch.ws in \modRealisticTorches\content\scripts\local.
YESSS!!!! Finally one of the most immersion-breaking things for me (the fact you could stock up on dozens of torches and none would ever expire) is fixed! Thank you Teresatiger!
Now, the only other thing is the way torches go out in every cutscene ... (@Syynx I PM'd you about this just now).
