I am pinning this comment as it might prove useful to anyone else looking to do the same.
It is very simple actually, here are the steps:
You must first download the following tools:
- Scaleform VideoEncoder 4.0 - WolvenKit - A recording tool of your choice (Nvidia GeForce Experience, Open Broadcaster Software etc..) - A video editor to encode and convert your footage from mp4 to avi (Handbrake, Premiere Pro (if you got the money) etc..) - Last but not least, lots of patience.. It's not a tough process by any means but some computer literacy is required.
Once you are settled and ready you can follow these simple steps:

- Record your footage. If you already have a specific video to use then you can skip this step.
- Use your preferred video editing software to make any edits to your video (adding music, color fixes etc...) if you already are satisfied with the quality of your video you can also skip this step.
- Encode your footage to avi: This might be a bit tricky because not a lot of tools support avi as it is old and obsolete, hopefully if you do your research right, that won't be a problem because you are going to have a suitable software for that job. The reason that you have to convert your video to avi is because Scaleform VideoEncoder can only encode this specific format unfortunately, the good news is, the tool itself does a great job compressing the actual video, so if you end up with a 30GB video file once you encode it, it might go down to 300MB.
- Use Scaleform VideoEncoder and add your avi file: you can mess around with the settings to match the resolution/framerate etc of the output file.
- Once the encoding is done you will end up with a .usm file. This is the format that the game can read and render on the main menu screen. Just rename your file to main_menu_ep2.usm, this will change the BaW main menu video to your own.
- Open up WolvenKit, create a new project and use the asset browser to find the vanilla main_menu_ep2.usm, import it on your project and replace it with your modded one.
- Finally, pack your project, launch the game and hopefully if you did everything by the book you should be able to view your own recording on the main menu screen.
- Feel free to grab a towel to wipe all the sweat and tears away!
Check out this reddit post. There are a numerous amount of freeware converters that you can use. I have removed handbrake from my PC and I can't recall the exact version that I used.

I like the taglharpe sound and the old tree.
Could you also create a "Nordic Menu Alternative GOTY" version?
That would be great.
