Hello, I just wanted to ask if this mod is still being worked on? It seems really promising, I just wish the restocking aspects you described at the bottom of the page was a part of the mod. Preparations mod has all the restocking aspects you mentioned but it has so many deal breakers for me.
Sorry, can't give you any estimates right now, because I'm really pressed for time, and I still didn't actually finish the game, so I won't be able to properly test it. I will try to look into it in the following week, maybe there aren't THAT many differences in XMLs.
Not in 0.1.0 (current version). I've made a new version (hopefully I'll be able to release it at the end of the week, kinda short on time right now and this s#*! needs testing), which will also have some changes to shops including the increased amount of balisse and other core ingredients available from herbalists.
Thanks for the mod! Would you consider to make it compatible with Oil Sort Order or add this feature to a future version of the mod? This would be very cool.
I'm now working on a yet another significant change to the refill system (it's actually done, just need to test it for a while since it's rather significant), and after that I will look into that. Added it to Future Updates.
Hey man. Interesting mod. I love the retexture of the bombs & oils to be more unique for each type. Could you make the texture edit as a stand-alone? Thank you !
There are indeed very neat! Thank you, will be expecting this stand-alone. I am quite satisfied to tell the truth with alchemy as it is, appart from the fact that you cannot differentiate 2 oils
Whole problem with new icons is that CDPR made only 2 ranks of icons, thats why they included only first rank in original game. If all the ranks look the same with different background, its not suspicious. If 2 ranks look different and rank 3 looks same as rank 1 or 2, you would suspect them of rushing the game.
This mod contains only one set of icons that replaces the vanilla, meaning that one oil will have the same icon on all tiers. ..or I don't understand what the problem is.
Do not mind same icon for all tier, just need different icons for different oils (as for potions for example). The problem with the current oil icon is that they are not well... "iconic".
I think the problem with these kinds of "increase difficulty" mods is that they only actually increase difficulty at the beginning of the game, which is insanely high anyways (on death march). Later on (when the game gets easier anyway) those increased costs won't mean anything, but early in the game they will actually cripple you.
I think this is the kinda problem with mods trying to balance games - they will be helpful only for a certain difficulty level
Well, yes and no. That only happens because the vanilla refill system is kinda dumb and lazy. It needs to be changed so that different tiers would require different ingredients. Let's say T1 potion would require Dwarven Spirit to refill and T2 - Alcohest. That way you can balance out every tier separately. I wanted to do it, but I'm limited to xmls since I don't know s#*! about scripting.
Regarding the mod, right now it shouldn't cripple you that hard on lower levels, because you don't actually need to buy alcohest - herbs and empty bottles can be found everywhere, Temerian Rye and Redanian Herbal are far more accessible than Nilfgardian Lemon and Cherry Cordial both in terms of price and drop. Food being more effective when you still don't have a lot of HP and having a smaller number of bomb recipes means that you don't need to refill that often as you do on higher levels. Basically you'll be trading time for money. Still, it's not the best way to do it and serves as a more or less temporary solution until I find a way (or rather a person) to make the refill system work as I described.

What is the ETA for NG+ support?
