Pretty sure the Death sound fx is 0002.ogg from the gui.bnk, so if you know how to repack those, good luck!
0002.ogg from gui.bnk is the full death screen sound, the thump is literally the beginning of the file followed by the rest of the deeper and higher pitched sound. It's one file.
If repacking is impossible, perhaps there is some way to import NEW sounds to the game, in which case you can then replace the sound file here:
line 33: theSound.SoundEvent( 'gui_global_player_death_thump' );
That was my original plan but I literally couldn't find the death soundfx in the banks, so if anyone knows what the name of that file is let me know xD

I've got a request for a separate mod, whenever Geralt is killed, the Game Over screen pops up with the classic 'boom' sound effect, you could make a mod that plays the song at that moment.
I participated in the "political killing" so this is a very fitting song for Novigrad right now. Combined with the Witch haunt, racist killings & slaughter in Novigrad this is absolutely perfect.
