I know there the next-gen version 4.0 is released and may not be compatible with the previous version, I am afraid my old potato PC will not be able to run these additional features, so, until I can upgrade my LGA1150 Potato PC into something, the update probably will not be released, I hope somebody will update the mod and test it faster than my PC is Upgraded, Sorry for the inconvenience, I Hope everyone will understand,
I don't know, I never play this game again since 2~3 years ago maybe, but there are 2 cases: 1. you are using a new next-gen patch, and use a pre-next-gen-patch mod or vice versa 2. you are not using the script merger in the correct way
disabled all other mods only actived this one, still shows this:
Error [content0]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(6090): Could not find function 'DetectTagOfASet' Warning [content0]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code. Hey, I updated this mod for patch 4.0, and tested it with some of the buyable gwent cards - seems to work fine. Let me know if you want the file so you can upload it on this page, if you want me to upload it as a new mod, or something else.
After installing the mod, when I open the Gwent quest item book it only says the following: Velen: 2 Number of traveling merchants (or something like this): 0
It does not look like the screenshot posted in the description.
What does this mean? I have both DLC's and no other mods. Installed the mod with Vortex.
I found the solution with a comment of someone below: - Make sure the add-on is loaded as '1', not '0' when selecting the order. - Run the merger script.
tbh, idk truly what made it work but it worked! Thank you for the amazing mod.
@kelticpete try to disable other mod that conflicts with my mod, then play the game, if my mod does not work in the first place, installing other mod will not make my mod work either, then enable other mod that disables earlier 1 by 1 until my mod does not work, then select low priority to that mod
I'm currently using this mod. But somehow, I don't quite understand the colored asterisk. There's green, red, and yellow. The description says that once a card gets acquired, the colored asterisk pertaining to that card (or shop keeper) will disappear. My question is, what's the purpose of the green, red, and yellow asterisk if you can just use a single color?
colored asterisk means that (same) cards can be obtained 3 times, for example, you can get 3 decoy cards, you can see what colored asterisk card at the bottom of the book,
the main problem is a vendor is only allowed to have a card sold at a time, to refresh vendor stock, you need to travel far away from the vendor, or quicksave then quickload to instant restock
help me install the mod, but I don't see the book in the game, not on sale, not in the white garden, just writes that you have a new item, but there is no item
Would this mod be safe to use alongside Immersive Gwent Store? For example, if I buy one of the (normally randomly obtained) cards from the "store", would the Gwent Guide Tracker update accordingly?
This mod Is safe to use with any mod, because this mod only check if Geralt has a certain card(s) in inventory or not, then show it in the book, even if this mod is unsafe, the worst scenario is the book provide the wrong data
But if the other mod edits Gwent cards, I cannot guarantee if that mod is safe or not, I have read in some case, a mod that edit Gwent cards cause "Collect 'em All" Quest is unfinishable
To what extent would a mod have to edit Gwent cards for the quest to be at risk of being unfinishable? I'm using a custom mod that just makes some minor tweaks to neutral cards. Things like changing strength values, adding abilities, etc. Would that be okay?
I don't know about the detail, but let said to complete the quest you need: -the player has 168 cards by its name if the original card name "geralt of trivia", but because the mod rename it to "mod author name the great" or something else, the quest is unfinishable because "geralt of trivia" card will never be acquired,
-completes related quests, I am not too sure about this if it is relevant or not, but some (hidden) quests may be conditions for this quest to be marked as complete,
you did not change the names of any cards, but what is the author of the mod you mentioned earlier, did they do?
my English is not good, and I use Grammarly for help, maybe the auto fixing is working or something, so I do not notice because there is no error marked
You mean Immersive Gwent Store? It just adds all normally randomly obtained/buyable cards to a certain two merchants, so you can buy them from a consolidated place. Cards that are a part of quests aren't included, so you still have to do those quests. This includes the Skellige cards since each one is considered a quest objective. The mod makes no edits to the cards themselves. You're all good, I was just having a laugh! It was one of those humorous moments on auto-correct's part.

s/he have a tutorial to fix the problem you encounter
- Make sure the add-on is loaded as '1', not '0' when selecting the order.
- Run the merger script.

i changed that to number 1 using vortex and ran merger script.
still don't see changes in quest book. think I am doing something wrong.
