No, this mod doesn't seem to work at all, as there is still a lot of rich loot everywhere: it's very easy to get rich quickly and find the best equipment than what the merchants have. ... I remember that there is some kind of mod that removes loot in almost all containers, so I'd better install it. ... I repeat, this one either does not work at all, or the author has greatly embellished what he has done.
Wish someone would make a mod that give you a line of credit for helping the guy start a ruin stone business. What does it cost you like 30k lol and nara a discount. Thats BS lol
Простите а Вы бы не смогли сделать версию вашего мода исключив рецепты не ведьмачьих доспехов и оружия полностью из игры , даже те реликтовые что идут наградой за охоту на монстров? Мне нравиться отыгрывать стиль The Witcher 1)
Monster loot has been altered in this mod too, which is weird. Now, instead of getting nekker blood, claw, heart, eyes, I ONLY get Vitoril, Rebis, and such from nekkers.
Sounded promising until I read the part about dusts being found primarily in homes of the wealthy. I'm a Witcher not a thief. That leaves only a fraction of containers you'll likely find such things. I like the concept and even agree with the premise, but this I believe this will leave too few sources for said materials. It might also diminish the sense of reward you would otherwise get from taking out large and formidable monster nests. Especially when they out-level you.
PS. My own approach would have been to instead dramatically reduce the chance of said items spawning in humble locations. So you would actually feel good with the prospect of maybe finding something cleverly stashed away, even by common-folk.
Good to know. Even though it will likely have a positive effect on the pacing of the game, I still think finding pelts 99% of the time will get tedious pretty quickly. Half the fun for me is anticipating what sort of loot is hidden away here and there. This rather heavy-handed approach nullifies the mystery of what you will find and where.
What motivation would I even have to wipe out nests and certain POI's when I already know the loot won't be anything interesting or useful and doesn't even have a small chance to be.
The problem I see with this mod and others like it, is that it has been tuned primarily around the lore, when really it should have been tuned with both lore and gameplay in mind. Indeed it makes sense that you would not likely find valuables in certain places, but not at all ? I don't think so.
From a purely lore-based perspective, even minor monster nests would be a place where valuables would collect. It's easy to imagine that a number of unsuspecting individuals of varying trades and circumstances would happen upon them intentionally or by accident. Soldiers, peasants and merchants alike, all would realistically carry something of value on them.
I really can't see any reason why you wouldn't just reduce the chance to find such things respective to each loot-list. At this point I just have to assume it's a modding limitation.
Hey I appreciate this mod with the exception that mutagens are very f***ing rare for some reason. Is that intended? I have all these decoctions ready to make but am lacking the mutagens and I've already reached Novigrad. For example the Water Hag decoction, I already killed like 10 of those nasty bitches yet no mutagen! Sadly I'll have to uninstall it, at least until I brew all decoctions. I'd endorse otherwise but great job nonetheless.
I don't understand what people are talking about with getting rich quick in Witcher 3. I'm at Level 38, and I still only have a few thousand crowns to my name.
Perhaps if you go through the game, looting everything, and only doing the main story plot, you end up with a lot of money by the end, to where it just doesn't mean much. Otherwise, the economy in the game has been very well balanced for me. Never have I had more than about 15000 crowns, and that didn't last long.
Upgrading all the sets of armor to master/legendary status costs a ton. Fitting high level runes, glyphs, and enchantments to this armor and weapons costs a ton more! The Rune merchant in HoS costs 30000K alone to unlock his abilities. I have also added a few DLC mods such as magic spells by Menschfiend13, bossbow, sheilds, etc that requires huge amounts of coin if you want to use a lot of high priced items from those mods.
If anything, I had to add a mod or two to the game that awards more gold, or increases the drop chance of rare items just to keep Geralt from going broke! Even with these mods that increase gold/valuables, I still feel poor in the game.
Those of you who pile up a ton of gold and feel like you have nothing to spend it on, are probably not playing the game to it's fullest potential.
In the books, witchers are broke. Mods like this and Lore Friendly Economy mod make the world more immersive. If playing vanilla, you can beat the game doing only the main quests and never bothering with any of the witcher contracts... in a game called THE WITCHER! Senseless! When s#*! gets expensive, then you'll have no choice but to take up contracts before moving on with the main story. Also makes finding valuable stuff more fun instead of just random luck. Love this mod.

It doesn't sound very lore friendly, honeslty
