Hello chuduyen2299, you're not the first one on tell me this, i still don't understand why there is a "lightDOF.fx" working on the preset, as i didn't make a lightDOF.fx value on it, you can remove it, for sure! i'll have to check that error on newer version of reshade
Have you looked at your own .INI file? You have settings for LightDOF in the file and the shader is referenced in TechniqueSorting at the top.
I see MANY preset .INI files on this site which contain settings and references to many more shaders than the authors claim to use. It's almost as if some of you are using some tool to generate these INI files, which makes them sloppy. Remove all of the entries for shaders you do not want ReShade to function on.
That's how reshade .ini files looks after you spent 1 month or more tweaking everyday values and trying tons of effects until you find out the look you want, i don't have (and no one have to) delete or remove any older un-used entry on the techniques= side of the reshade .ini preset because the software itself separate the Enable vs Disable effects and if you download a preset you'll only use the Enable ones, plus you can also check in the settings tab the "Clear cache - Don't load Disabled Effects" and you'll only load and use the effects required. This is not "generated" from other files or anything like you mentioned, it is how it works, you test and test and test, and there's a history of changes.
I'm using your reshade preset with vanilla and some NVIDIA filter setting, truly immersive. Thx. Still, I want to ask which lighting mod do you think is the best to use with your preset?
Hi I have installed all of the effects available in the latest ReShade (Version 4.9.1). Upon launching the .exe, ReShade displayed a compilation error for Immersive_LUT.
Hello, i've followed every step and such, i have installed reshade before but this is the first time on my new pc and i cant seem to get it to work on this specific game, any advice?
You need to install the reshade on the executable of the game located in C:/,,,,,\SteamApps\common\The Witcher 3\bin\x64\witcher3.exe, then the reshade-shaders folder will be created right there on that \x64\ directory so you can install the shaders and textures in there, after that simply select the preset at the end of the instalation -EDIT RESHADE SETTINGS- Preset: inmersive_witcher3.ini or simply select it inside the game by pressing Home and opening Reshade windows, i hope that helps
