It looks good on foliage, but on Geralt's beard there is some flickering/noise and it looks bad even if I turnd down that setting that says you can reduce the flickering. I don't know how to describe it better, but can I do something about it?
oh very sorry for the super late reply, I wasn't checking nexus mods for a while, check the description download reshade and select the direct x option and then drag this file to the witcher 3 folder then press the home key to open the menu and click on the presets which will say default preset and select this preset. so make sure to click the home hey which is to the right of the backspace key I hope this helped or you have already worked it out.
In order to improve AmbientOcclusion, Reshade is not needed. Just download W3Edit or Wolvenkit and extract the files responsible for the parameters of a region. Edit in these programs and save as mod. This is much more difficult to do than through Reshade, but the result is worth it.
So what you are saying is that instead of using the easy method of Reshade, one should just create a lighting mod, which is a notoriously difficult thing to get right? Gotcha! Can we expect your ambient occlusion Env. mod anytime soon then?
Which shaders are used by this preset, exactly? Only MXAO and FXAA as the name suggests, correct? I am asking because I wanna try to add your settings to my current reshade and wondering which parts I would need to copy. Will try MXAO + FXAA....
