you can remove it in the horse_item xml file of ep1 folder, by deleting the tag "Devil_Saddle" from the stats tag; you can also add it to any saddle, or even any of Geralt's weapons or armor, by adding the tag "Devil_Saddle" to the stats tag of the xml file of any item you want to add it to.
I didn't touch the effects. In the screenshots I used freecam, some Geralt/camera positioning, and the slow console command in just the right way so that the effects that made Roach jet black/smokey didn't show as much. Did this so the blinders could be seen a bit better.
To edit an XML file you need to either use WolvenKit's asset browser to add it to a mod project or uncook the ep1's content folder under DLC. After that you need to repack and install as a mod. Look up some tutorials on youtube or something. It's not that difficult as a whole.
I can't even figure out how to open the modding kit. Don't suppose anyone would be willing to make the mod for me? As a request? I have no idea what I'm doing here.
I was just wondering if you were able to find out how to remove the flies and the mist effect. I've watched some tutorial videos and tried it on my own, but i ended up messing the game files instead xD. I had to uninstall and reinstall the game and rebuild my mods.
Thanks.
Btw, this is a very great mod. Roach looks more badass with this. Mod endorsed!
