I change the first design a little , made the hand grip pattern bit brighter in the meddle but less obvious , there were two old version of it , one is too bright and opposite on the other one , you maybe using one of those old version if you not using last update but it's not big deal you can hardly notice it so i didn't save the file for old version , but update it if you like it . thanks for reply !
Hey man, great mod, but scabbards too short. Sword clips through at the end. Can you make it longer by chance? That, or make the blade slightly thinner/shorter? Thank you
cuz i only use other sword scabbards and change texture, in this mod im using "Aerondight Redone" mod to presenting it made the sword smaller like other silver sword , so it will clips through if you dont use "Aerondight Redone" , i may have find other texture to rebuild cuz i dont do 3d modify, thx for the head up though.
Sorry dude, the original scabbards using different belt to hold it, all i can do is change the original version (that one with XXX belt) to new color base if you prefer original sword size, let me know if you want this then i will post it after finish new mod .
Hey, thanks for the reply! So I noticed that when I try to add mods that change the blade's stats, like "Chivalric Aerondight mod" for example, the scabbard overwrites those stats. That's weird. And when I change the load order, then the stats override the scabbard design, so I don't even get to see the white scabbard anymore, it goes back to default aerondight scabbard. Do you know why the scabbard is affecting new stats on the blade? Is there a way to fix it?
And Yes, if you could change the color of that original scabbard to all white instead of blue, that would be fantastic! Because it seems that the original scabbard is the only one I can use if I want to use chivalric aerondight mod too.
Not very sure what you mean, but looks to me "Chivalric Aerondight" just a small change on the sword date, it also happen to be the same file that contain info of what type of scabbards that sword should be using, so it will have conflict between "Chivalric Aerondight" with any mod that change scabbards, but it can easily fix by "Script Merger". you still want that new mod that only change color ?
Ah ~ mod is almost done but i'm sorry to say i think the sword tip showing is a bug not a mod conflict like i thought, only way i know to fix this is using "Aerondight Redone" mod to make it smaller.

Would you mind taking a request for a different texture mod? Its not much, but I noticed there's no mod for having nice brown leather looking scabbard for most swords (kinda like the ones of GM Ursine Steel or T Knight Steel). Would be really cool if we got scabbard texture mods like that, but of your quality. Just a wishful request :)

you mean basic leather or grand master Bear school texture? for which sword? steel or silver? there's a mod "Aerondight Redone" made by alb084 has different scabbards mods
I meant the Grandmaster Bear steel texture or the Toussaint Knights steel texture scabbards, but for all swords [steel and silver] (i personally use Legendary Manticore swords tho so even if specific its cool).
To be very specific as example, in the mod "Aerondight Redone" made by alb084, the 3rd picture shows all the samples available. No.6 [above Vanilla] in the picture looks best to me like leather. But in that mod its only for Aerondight, I woud've loved to have that scabbard available for all witcher swords as mod. Or best would be if we could use the Toussaint Knights Steel scabbard texture, that color is perfect, perhaps with darker brown ribbons. Lol just wishing since i cant do it on my own.
But once again, its just a request, don't want to bother you if its too much work or hassle. Ignore if it you dont want to, no hard feelings :D
