You need to copy the bin folder from the mod into the "Witcher 3" main folder.
Or placing the TradeMan.XML file from the [modTradeMan\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc] into [path to Witcher 3]\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc will make it appear in the game's menu.
The fix does not work, everything is done according to the instructions, without the fix the mod is installed but the prices are 0. After installing the fix the game does not start at all. script merging is done but still gives an error

Are the buy and sell price modifiers based on the base value of items, or on the existing buy and sell prices? For example: In vanilla, an item has a base value of 100, a buy price of 400, and a sell price of 5. If I set the buy multiplier to 2, will the buy price be 200, or 800? If I set the sell modifier to 2, will the sell price be 10, or 200?
UPDATE: Did some testing. It's based on sell and buy prices, not base value. Would be nice if it was based on base value instead.
Anyone else having a problem of wrong dismantle costs displayed? I've noticed in popup window for dismantle multiple units the cost for this is taken from the last selected item from the shopkeeper. If you select another item, which he sells, it will show this price then in the popup menu. However, when you dismantle something it will cost the correct price and the correct price is also shown in the bottom right corner. Is there a fix for this minor issue?
Because most I see a lot of people using TradeMan because it's on the first page of the most endorsed files, thanks to being released when the game was very popular. Those people often don't know about Lore-Friendly Economy, which in my opinion is a lot better. Rudeness wasn't intended.
Lore friendly does the opposite of this mod though. I don' twant to waste a bunch of time trying to gather coin for crafting gear or runes. Lorefriendly economy makes that grind worse.
I installed the trade man mod manually and through vortex and could not get it to work at all, so i found this fix for an issue i was not having just for shits and giggles and when i replaced the file with the fix file i actually saw trade man show up in the in game mod folder and the sliders were there. I adjusted the sliders and played the game, though the merchants have more money the monetary value of my items and the value of the merchant's items did not change, and when i sold items i received no money even though the items sold were the unaugmented prices which using the slide bars in the main menu mod menu i changed. I have tried installing this mod every which way i can think of and yes have the trademan.xml in the folder steam>steamapps>common>thewitcher3>bin>config>r4game>user_config_matrix>pc i did this before i tried replacing the original file with the fix file and the game did not recognize the mod in any way, it was not until i downloaded the fix file manually that it showed up at all and I now have the zero value problem this is supposed to fix XD

NVM, all fixed after doing what's told in sticky post. Somehow fixing menu also fixed 0 prices. Thank you so much!
