This only work in DLC ? so in the main game story (with DLC installed) there woud be no difference untill I finished the main story or does it just require the DLC to be installed ?

It's meant for Blood and Wine. It replaces the trees in that expansion.

Yes, HDRP 11 doesn't touch these trees.

So, which version is the better one? The uncompressed or the compressed one?

      Uncompressed:
      +Better Looking
      - Takes up more space and vram.
      Compressed:
      +Takes up less space/vram
      -Looks worse

If you are not worried about the space and vram the uncompressed version takes up, (which is not much for a modern computer) then use that version. It won't be that easy to spot the difference in quality during normal gameplay though, especially if the resolution is lower than 3840x2160.

No lighting mod or reshade, just a bugged out install of TW3 that causes screenshots and videos to be extremely dark. I had to raise the brightness, lower the contrast, and raise the overall exposure.

Who knows, maybe somebody could create a lighting mod/reshade that recreates the look of those screenshots if you like them.
