COMPATIBILITY: This mod is NOT compatible with any mod that modifies Geralt's .redfur files, which is almost every Geralt Hairworks mod out there. Please do not ask about compatibility regarding Hairworks mods anymore. If it is a Hairworks mod for Geralt, it is not compatible with this. There is an optional file without the beards, so that one is compatible with beard mods.
I've made a compatibility mod / merge between this mod and "Optimised HairWorks" https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2613? by guauld You can choose between two files the optimised and unoptimised version - Use only one.
Install instructions are in the .rar files included. Thank you guauld and BlurredNotions for the great mods!!! For more details check out the descriptions of the original mods.
However, even though you posted a sticky about compatibility, you are not clear if that also applies to your other two hair physics mods. It would be simple to understand if there was a hint on the description page, that says "NOT to be used with my prior mods" or something like this. Because instead there is only "new and better version of the physics now available" (does it mean THIS mod as a better version of your old mod(s)?). Then your other two mods are linked, and nowhere can be found a word about to use them with this one or not, and in your sticky you don't name your other mods too. Also in the comments you didn't answer the same question from another user, so please forgive us if we don't get it right. Well, now when I think about it some more time, I think we shouldn't use all of your hairmods together, but it's not really clear to me.
To be clear: Should we uninstall your other mods prior to install this one?
I thought the names of the mods make it pretty clear what they affect, but I can see how some people might get slightly confused.
1.) This mod is for Geralt's Hairworks hair and beard, changing its LOD distance and physics to make it move more. (Originally, the mod was only a LOD distance extension, and the optional file was a physics tweak. I made a better version of the physics change, so that is what I meant by "Better version of the physics file")
2.) The NPC Physics mod changes all the dangling objects (hair, necklaces, accessories) on NPCs to be more responsive, also includes Geralt's accessories, but not his hair.
3.) Geralt Hair Physics Fix changes Geralt's non-Hairworks hair to be more responsive.
I saw no reason to explain this before because I thought it was self explanatory. However here we are, and I'll sticky this post.
Thanks. The original mod doesn't seem to work too well with the next-gen version, since it causes Geralt's hair to stay permanently blown back in certain conversations. Your version improves it significantly.
doesnt work on next gen my geralt is still missing his back hair (i have half tail hairstyle) and on cutscene it looks like he has shaven sides style haircut https://ibb.co/7XhFdZx
Is there any chance you could implement this fix, at least for your Hairworks LOD increase file? I'm using a mod that makes the hair be positioned like when wearing the shirt when I'm using the Kaer Morhen/trailer armor, because the original hair is too floaty in it, and thus I'm dealing with this bug even without wearing the shirt.
