    hi,

I like your accent and your presentation of the subject.
You were a great help in skyrim and other mods.
    Thanks.

I have been looking for a mod that will increase the stamina of Garalt but to no avail.
I have tried the "Modding Tutorial including .bundle extractor tool at The Witcher 3 Nexus -
Mods and community" but it does not seem to work for V1.22.

Then I found a weight mod that uses a blob.bundle in "Over 9000 - Weight limit mod at The
Witcher 3 Nexus - Mods and community"

I was successful in modifying this blob.bundle using instructions from the former modding tutorial
without any errors. I kept an eye on the size and the tool did not give me any grief.

Except when I installed my modified mod. The game ran as normal but this time the weight said 0 instead of 9000.
when I installed the original mod it said 9000.

so I have done something wrong here but I don't know what. there was a meta.store file with the blob.bundle
but I have no idea whether this needs to be edited as well.

Do you think you could do a short tutorial to create something like this?
I know how to use the tool because I have been mucking around with it for a day now.
I just don't know where to go next to make this work.

    Thanks

Edit: I have just watched your tutorial and it seems if I were to use your method it might work for me.

I was surprised to see it created the meta.store file for you when you cooked it!!!!!!!! Now i know that it is required and needs to change.

could you just confirm if I am on the right track please?
i don't mind struggling along but it makes it a lot easier with a little guidance.

Which file should I edit do you think to get Geralt stamina and weight to change? it may be that i am mistaken about patch0 files.

i guess the other method should not be used any more.

    Great work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn’t have done it without this video! Thanks so much. Quick question though. I am doing a Witcher eye retexture. I got the file to export from XBM to TGA but when I open it in GIMP the picture is just a purple box with a yellow line through it. So I bypassed the export and took the TGA file from my uncooked folder edited that then Imported back to a XBM file. Its seems to work fine but the eye is not as vibrant as I like it to be. Call me narcotic but I want things to be legit as possible. Was it ok to do it the way I did or should I try and keep Exporting the XBM file to TGA? Would there be any difference if I just grabbed that TGA file like I did? My main goal is to get the texture glowing. Any insight would be much appreciated.
    Thanks Guys.

how did u solve this? I am getting same error

    Hello Gopher:

I've followed your tutorial's instructions but can't get the batch file to export to the Raw folder. Basically, when I double-click on the batch file the command tab opens, the process runs, then I get the following error message:

I have exactly the same problem.
My batch file and all directions are ok. Checked 100 times.

      EDIT:
      Ok I fixed it.
The problem was with Uncooked files. It was weird for me that this "t_01_mg__shirt_d01" file was only like 11kb. After these steps everything is ok.
Some time ago I moved my Witcher 3 game folder to SSD so don't be suprised that it's not in GOG folder x)

      1. Delete your Uncooked folder that you created before.

      2. Go to your Witcher 3 Mod Tool x64 folder.
      My is:
      D:\Program Files (x86)\Witcher 3 Mod Tools\bin\x64

      3. Find wcc_lite.exe -> Right click on it, select properties, then go to compatibility and check "Run as administrator".

      4. Uncook again just like in the video (3:22).
      Thats how I made it:
      d:
cd "Program Files (x86)\Witcher 3 Mod Tools"
      cd bin\x64
      wcc_lite uncook -indir="C:\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content" -outdir=" D:\Witcher3Modding\Uncooked" -imgfmt=tga

      5. Export again this file.
Again - my code if its helpful:
      cd /d " D:\Program Files (x86)\Witcher 3 Mod Tools\bin\x64"
      call wcc_lite export -depot=D:\Witcher3Modding\Uncooked\ -file=characters\models\geralt\armor\armor_shirt\t_01_mg__shirt_d01.xbm -out=D:\Witcher3Modding\Mods\GophersLogo\Raw\t_01_mg__shirt_d01.tga

    Hey Gopher,

I want to make a mod that edits sounds in The Witcher 3. In your video you mentioned editing sounds is similar to editing textures. When I had uncooked everything I went looking for the sound files and discovered that they didn't unpack because ModKit doesn't support it right now. I went to Google and found that apparently you can unpack these sounds with other tools and can actually cook the files with the ModKit. However, I don't know anything about this and am new to modding. I figured I'd ask you directly about this since it seemed you had some knowledge as to what was going on.

Is it against the EULA to use other tools? Have you tried editing any of the sounds, and if so what kind of programs would I need? Also are you planning on making a video on how to edit sounds?

Hello sir, first i have to say that you are a very great video turorial explainer and i have learned very easy about modding on skyrim from you, many many thanks. :)
I just want to ask you if we can use NifSkope to edit witcher3 meshes, because there are lots of people who have no idea about 3D modeling programs like Blender and 3D Max Studio, sadly i am one of them, don't have the time and money to learn and buy one of those programs.

Hmm, man. I have been stuck at the exporting phase for a while. Here is my .bat text, every file path is 100% correct.

    cd /c C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\Witcher 3 Mod Tools\bin\x64
    call wcc_lite export -depot=C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\Witcher 3\Uncooked\ -file=items\weapons\swords\witcher_silver_swords\model\sword_01_silver_d01.xbm -out=C:\Users\Kevin\Desktop\export\Raw\sword_01_silver_d01.tga

I should not that in my .bat it is all on one line except the "cd..." line. I am new to this, but has gotten this far on my own, I just can't seem to figure out what is wrong.

Great video, your videos are THE best tutorials I have been able to find, I just go full retard on this for some reason lol.

I KNOW it has to do with how I am typing out the file paths. I know I had to include " when uncooking, and I have since tried it with exporting, I just need to figure out the exact placement of the " and I got it. I Just don't know enough about this to know where to put them, so it is taking a LOT of time lol.

Ahh I am dumb, /d stands for directory haw.

Problem, I changed it to /d.. still failing. I also simplified my file path for everything (uncooked again to test and it uncooked fine).

      cd /d C:\Witcher Modding\bin\x64

      call wcc_lite export -depot=C:\Witcher Modding\Uncooked\ -file=items\weapons\swords\witcher_silver_swords\model\sword_01_silver_d01.xbm -out=C:\Witcher Modding\Raw\sword_01_silver_d01.tga

I hate being such a pain, but can anyone spot and errors in this? File paths are 100% correct, I hope it isn't anothing obvious error like the /d mistake lol.

Also thank you Gopher for replying, it is much appreciated!

Son of a turd. I figured out the issue. It didn't like the space between "Witcher" and "Modding" in my file path, so I renamed the folder to "WitcherModding" and boom, it works. That was easy to fix, I feel stupid now! hahahaha.

Yeah, you can put quotes around the path if you want to keep the space (I think).

Hah, I tried the quotes a LOT before getting rid of the space. It was so frustrating because I knew everything was right, but that damn space just mixed it all up. With qoutes and without it stopped reading the file path at "\Witcher" not even reading the full "Witcher Modding" what a pain.

Anyway, thanks for the tutorial and the assistance!
