This mod will NOT be updated to NextGen (v4.0). You can use the excellent DLC - Fast Travel Pack - Next-Gen by MerseyRockoff.

Thank you everyone for the support with past versions. This mod page will be kept up for anyone who wishes to use it with classic Witcher3 v1.32.

I removed the mod (in favor of the new "fast travel pack DLC" https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/6850 which shouldn't have any conflicts with other mods) and now I've got "ghost" fast travel points still on my minimap and map, without there being anything in-game, without description, and they still work for fast travelling. So far I've noticed them where the Hattori marker, Keira Metz's marker and the Crow's perch marker had been before.?

the mod should be completely removed according to scriptmerger. any idea how to fix this?

If you need more information, or a modlist, please let me know.

Edit: I removed the DLC—Fast travel pack temporarily, and the posts still were there. so it's not an issue with that mod. Is there some sort of cache that persists with mod removal where fast travel points are saved or something?

There shouldn't be, but I'll test later when I get home from work.

Hello, I just tested the mod v1.13B on GOTY v1.32. I loaded a save with no mod and the new marker wasn't there (then I save the game). I put the mod in and ran the game again, and the marker was shown as expected (then I save the game again). Finally, I removed the mod and ran the game again and there was no ghost marker in the world or minimap. You must have another mod that does that, maybe a Brother in Arms-Fast Travel Pack-compatibility patch?

Also, make sure you run script merger after removing or adding any mod. Then run the game once and let it finishes initializing scripts. After that, exit the game. Then, you can run the game again and play as normal. This will prevent any lingering bugs.

thank you so much for testing this in-depth, and verifying that those ghost markers are not the mod's fault. I honestly don't know what went wrong there on my end. I guess I'll just have to remove mods until they go away, I shall let you know if I find something :)

Can it work with W3EE Redux?

I installed this mod and then saw the HORRIFIC Polish translation...

First of all, half of the text doesn't even make sense, and the rest is either translated very badly or not translated at all, This is not the fault of the mod author of course, but rather the 'translator'.

That is very annoying for me, as a native Polish speaker... So I decided to download the localization file you uploaded and translate it myself, this time to proper Polish.

    https://anonfiles.com/D7pde3f5y6/localization_csv

This is not by any means a 1:1 translation, I changed quite a bit to immerse the player and make the text lore and game friendly, aka I wrote it to make sense in Polish, as a direct 1:1 translation would in some cases make either zero sense or just sound very bad. I tried to write it like CDPR would and it still gives you a VERY clear idea of what is where. I would be very thankful if you decided to drop the old 'translation' and use my file.

Hello, thank you for using this mod and improving on the translation. However, there are no big changes to the mod to warrant a repack and reupload.

So you are free to upload the Polish translation separately and link back to this mod as a requirement (just like the Czech, Japanese, and Korean translation already available on Nexus).

Hmm, could you give me a quick guide on how to repack the files myself? or at least a resource/guide from which I could learn that?

Okay, I actually found the time to learn how to encode the strings and uploaded my own translation of the mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/6556

I had to post it as a mod and not a translation because nexus wouldn't register this mod as the requirement for the translation, for some reason...

    Thank you so much!
It's insane that the only master armorer in the game is so far from a fast travel point by default, simply maddening.

some fast travel points are available even without visiting them the first time, is this normal?

Not normal unless you type "DiscoverPack" command in the console. Or your save file has the place visited before.

Is this mod safe to uninstall mid play-through?

Yes. Just remove this mod from your "mods" folder and run Script Merger. Then it will be gone as if you've never installed it.

      Which signpost?

IMPORTANT: Use either Murzinio's version OR my version. DO NOT USE IT TOGETHER. Also, you have to discover the signs before you can use them, just like vanilla. They don't automatically appear on the map after you install it.

Then you probably have another conflicting mod that has a higher priority than this mod. Script Merger will show you which mod is conflicting with this mod.

I don't know why but in my case only hattori signpost does not work. Everything else seems to be fine but hattori sign don't want to pop up on the map and i can't click on it. There is no error;s in script merger.

Edit: Nevermind - sign pop up after finishing hattori quest.

Is it possible to get a version of this mod with just the grandmaster smith? That'd be greatly appreciated.

Nope, sorry. It's all or nothing. I won't strip my mod down to just one extra travel point.
