Hi. The mod is good, but there is one important problem - the swords remain with the characters even when they should not be. For example, when Lambert gives them to the trolls. Is there any hope that this can be solved?
Just so everyone know during the Lamber quest in Novigrad (Following The Thread Side Quest), in the initial part of the quest Lambert will not have the Silver Sword on his Back, but after a few stages of that quest is done Both the swords will show on Lambert;s back correctly. I'm using the KMA version which looks amazing.
Idk why, but lambert and eskel keep their vanilla swords before the battle of kaer morhen meeting (when you pass through all your allies and checking them)
There's seems to be a problem with the new version (NPC only, both standard and KMA; update: I tried the version with the quest, and I experienced the same problem). The swords don't show up, no matter what I do. The previous version (completely removed, NOT merely overwritten) worked with basically no issues, besides the well known ones, but this time Lambert and Eskel simply lack any sword. I took care to test the mod with a save created before the NPCs spawned in the world, but to no avail. Is there any known conflict with other mods that was not present with the previous version? As far as I can remember, no mod in my list should conflict with this one, but I could be wrong...
I capitalized a couple of letters in the item names that weren't supposed to be capitalized which is why all the swords disappeared. Should be fixed now. Sorry to anyone who downloaded the versions I uploaded earlier.
It would be great if you could mention in the description whether the issues from the previous version still persist in the update. I’m going to install the new version but will start a new game, so it will take me some time to check this detail.

I don't know. It's probably not a good idea to uninstall quest mods mid-playthrough.
Sometimes it's fine, but this is why vanilla dlcs won't allow you to load saves made with them installed if they're removed. I turned that off for all my mods, but this is why it exists. I don't know at what point your save will become unusable without this mod if you uninstall it.
Hi, sorry for a late follow up, but after coming back and trying TW3 I'm asking about how I can properly remove this mod. I followed all of the guided steps when uninstalling this mod, but I'm unable to even launch the game from the bin folder or from TW3MM. Only when I reinstall the mod and enable it, am I able to launch. I always end up getting a crash report otherwise without it installed.
It's like this mod has created a dependency for my game and I can't play without it.
I guess they could just be given the vanilla viper and cat swords, but this mod gives Eskel and Lambert their own unique wolf swords from other mods. As far as I know, there are no mods that add new viper or cat swords, and I don't have the skill to make them.
This. A million times this. You could maybe use the "enhanced" Viper sword models for Letho from the mod Fix for Viper and Venomous Viper Swords (with permissions, of course). Obviously users of the mod will not have unique models, but it's better than what we currently have with vanilla. Gaetan fortunately already has a unique steel sword (Teigr), and although I found no custom model for his silver sword, his armor being the first tier of Feline Gear, it should feel right to replace it with a Feline Silver Sword (T1). Again, better than the vanilla default.
The Enhanced Viper Swords from the mod would be an excellent choice for Letho: they already are in the game and they look great, vaslty superior to Vanilla Viper and Venomous Viper Swords! The Sword of Belhaven / Gesheft combo from BaW is also a viable option, when it comes to good look.
For Gaetan, standard cat swords of any tier should suffice, while Jas Karadin is purposedly and desperately trying to conceal his former affiliation to the infamous School of the Cat (no medallion, Geralt has to ask him which school he belongs to) and shouldn't wear anything that could give away his true nature. Just my opinon
As far as I know the "ehanced viper swords" moldels are an unused assets of the game (such a waste..), not the creation of a given modder, and also figure in other mods (BiA among them, if I well remember, but I could be wrong) as a solution to correct the infamous "viper sword appearance" bug.
I'm sure that a lot of people would appreciate to see them on Letho's back...

Im trying to add custom swords for gaetan and letho - where in the w2ent file did you find the sword files for eskel and lambert?
