HD MONSTERS REWORKED 5.0 LIVE(update Next Gen Version)
The new version of HDMR is finally live, I thank all those players who have supported this project, this mod has come so far thanks to you. I also thank CD Project for deciding to implement this mod in its Next Gen version and for creating the masterpiece which is The Witcher 3. HDMR has revolutionized the way of seeing the monsters in The Witcher 3, to retrace all the changes just make a comparative of the monsters of version 1.32 (Vanilla) and of version 5.0 to understand the real impact that this mod has want on the monsters. If you have ideas, suggestions to give I am available to take them into consideration. until next time
Using WinRAR to extract this to my mod folder, somehow getting a message saying cache files corrupt am I the only one having this Edit: no matter how it's extracted cache corrupt error every time not sure why I tried redownloading it but still get this issue unfortunately can't use this mod until i get a response at least.
I'm using the NG version, both files, but monsters don't look like the pictures in here. What give? I've given the file load priority jut in case, but saw no change...
So the "HD Monsters Reworked 5.0 Next Gen" parts 1 and 2 are the newest version right (this is for vanilla and not for 4k right?)
So why is the 3.0 version (the one for 4K) about the same size as the newest 5.0 vanilla HD version? shouldn't the 4k one be much larger? Is there going to be an updated 5.0 version for the 4K?
Awesome. I didn't realize that the next gen was 4K. So that being the case, do you happen to know if the mods by this author DHUBLAIDD only change texture colors without affecting HD Monsters Reworked? Anyone using both or know is some of DHUBLAIDDs work can supplement HDREWORKED?
It was already fixed in the past, but with the Next Gen probably CDPR has forgotten to add the mesh file that I sent them. You can try installing the "modhdmrpack4k" mod found in the "HD Monsters Reworked 3.0 - 4K - part 1" file. It may not work or cause other problems with the new version, so do some tests before leaving that folder on the MODS list
Maybe this is something that could be fixed by the people who make the Brothers in Arms bugfix mod? Seems like there are no more W3 patches coming from CDPR, to fix those few remaining bugs.
I certainly hope so there are still plenty of bugs (Geralt's hair turning black because of candlelight is especially annoying and immersion breaking) and the CPU threading is still pretty bad and causes performance issues and stutters. This game shouldn't look worse AND perform worse than Cyberpunk which has great CPU threading so this should also be capable of the same or even better.
So I need a little help. Everything is fine and dandy, except for when a troll dies, and the face gets stretched. I'm certain it's not this mod that causes this since it still occurred when I removed the mod. Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?
Thank you for all your amazing work! My favorite addition is the trophy visuals. You posted last December about updating that submod to include other monsters currently not featured, is that something you're still working on?
I've noticed the succubus in the quest "Practicum in advanced alchemy" is wearing underwear. So does The Lady in the Lake. I doubt succubuses and fairies/elves have the same modesty concerns humans have. Is there any way to remove these?

According to Should Be Nude files, those succubus textures were something included in this mod once upon a time but changed for whatever reason.
I was wondering if the mod team would please make those textures available again? Perhaps at least a patch for those who prefer the alternative? Their clothing is one of those details that drives me nuts in this game---especially in the Immerth scene. (The lady of the lake was absolutely one of those things too, but there proper naked textures for her in other mods.)
