      i selected the option to simulate a Witcher 2 save when creating this saved file and chose any decision that allowed every character from it to be alive... For example... the Baroness La Valette wont be pissed off at Geralt, because her son didn't die and Carduin of Lan Exeter will appear near Radovid's ship because Triss was saved by Geralt.

   I think you can get to that place of power if you help hjalmar with no problem, you just have to complete Cerys's, don't know if you ignore them you will be able though
