    I'm taking a quick break here to go on a little trip. I'll be back and updating this mod by the end of October.
    Two updates are in the works:

    Part 1: Some adjustments to existing spells, and introducing ~5 new tomes including the weapon elemental damage spells and an "aura" spell for Quen.
    Part 2: An optional version that converts 12 sign skills to tome spells, allowing you to modify all 5 signs at the same time. All of the tome items will still exist, and an equipped tome will override equipped skills if they conflict.

    That will probably be the end of major updates. From that point on, I will balance and fix bugs based on feedback and whatever I can find.

    New Tomes:

    Rimefrost (aard) - a frost aura that damages melee attackers and has a chance to inflict a freeze effect.
    Clear Skies (aard) - changes the weather to clear.
    Summon Storm (aard) - changes the weather to a rainstorm.
    Witchfire (axii) - a black magic aura that curses all melee attackers. Effect duration scales with sign intensity.
    Inferno (igni) - a fire aura that damages melee attackers and has a chance to inflict a burning effect.
    Cauterize (igni) - instantly heals a portion of your vitality if it is below 50%. Healing scales with sign intensity and is greater the lower your vitality (max 15%).
    Vortex (yrden) - a shock aura that damages melee attackers and has a chance to inflict stun.

    Changes:

    Charge-up spells: Scorch and Consume Vitality can now be cast through the alternate axii sign, which increases damage, healing, and effect application chance.
    Glyph of Mending is no longer a permanent effect, and the duration scales with sign intensity.
    Wrath of Storms and Breath of Winter have had some adjustments to their damage scaling.
    Additional shopkeepers now sell tomes (notably Keira Metz and the Pellar).
    Various bugs were fixed as they were found.

    Known bugs:

    Aura effects trigger even if you are parrying, making a fix for that. <-- Fixed in 1.3.1

    It conflicts with the FCR and cannot be combined correctly. I read it here, it turns out that the mod conflicts with a lot of things, it's a pity.

    Not sure if I'll get a response due to how old this mod is, but I need some help making an edit for my own use.

    Im trying to change the Tomes to equip in the pocket/Misc slot rather than the trophy slot so I can use the mod with regular monster trophies. Im able to successfully change it, but then the Tome does not function anymore.

    If anyone knows what I need to edit to make this happen it would be appreciated.

      The short version is no.

      The long version is Im 90% sure I did get it working, and I even recall it working with 2 equipped at a time (since there are 2 pockets). However that attempted playthrough was now a year ago. I had recently decided to revisit the game, but decided to re-install it, and now it doesnt work again.

      If I even did get it to work, I dont remember how unfortunately.

    The Scorch spell says it's an Igni modifier, but that it casts with Axii. Typo, or correct?

      Magic spell was build based on this mod so I think u don't need to use both
