Purpose of this mod?



It's just a little mod that increases the display distance of 
NPC stuff (main,secondary, crowd and horses for vanilla and the two DLC) by stuff i mean armor,weapon,work item, specularity of the plate armor, tattoo etc.... it also increase the distance of load of monster (not all for compatibility with brutal blood) and animals
(not all for compatibility with modA_HDReworkedProject and modaHDBirds_v12)





Why ?

Because it annoys me to see the armor of the Redanian soldier who was not complete with a metal reflections that only appear very slowly, same for the Nilfgaardian officers helmets and the body tattoos on the harbor of Novigraad. So Basically the mod allows to display the armor of the NPC at the same time as their head is displayed (this avoids having heads alone who walks in front of us). But be careful, the mod does not increase the loading speeds of the textures. When a texture remains cloudy even when you're right in front of the characters,it's a loading speed problem, not a display distance problem.The mod does not increase the display distance of NPC, just the display distance of their body and stuff. There are however some NPC armor and
weapon WHO DID NOT WORK (failed on 10% of the stuff) either because of the problem of corruption on the perforated clothes and fur clothes (mainly beggar and farmer) or because of conversion problem (impossible to convert the files concerning the baron man from .w2mesh to fbx, if someone can try please tell me if you have the same issue when you try to convert the file).
Regarding to the weapons and the items works, they are subject to the limit of pop in 3D object so you will not always see the weapons appear at long distance but it once loaded it will not depop that when you will be more than 100 m.


BUGS :

-The mainly bug concerning the torn coat and the fur objet, after tens of hours of work I did not succeed for repair is bug...So the only solution i sill have consist to making two different file, one with the texture who work correctly and an other with the badly texture.
Like that if a modder more experiment finds a solution  he will already have all the files who making a problem.

So because of this bug they have a chance that certain texture will not load at 100 m, so a part of the NPC body can be transparent at long distance ( it does not happen often but it happens sometimes in rural area).

-Another bug in Toussaint is characters head who are not on the body and character is block on a position like a T. For avoid this bug use the instruction below.




Requierements :

-This mod should be used with HQfaceV3 to have NPCs in HQ body and head (hair) included.


-In the user file you must tweak « SpawnedLimit=150 »to « SpawnedLimit=1000 » (I put 1000 to be sure of having the max) but if you have the bug of "T" position of NPC in Toussaint i advise to downgrade the value to 100 (it's equal to value high). This value fixe the bug.


-In the user file you must tweak « MeshLODDistanceScale=2 » to « MeshLODDistanceScale=10 »( if you have HQ face you have probably already done)



Performance coast :


In theory this mod should be increase the risk of stuttering. If you have this issue you should try to tweak DecalBudget=100 to 512,TextureMemoryBudget=800 to 4096,TerrainTileMipDataBudget=100 to 512. For me this tweak reduce a lot the suttering . Don't uses directly this tweak if you have a low pc config or, at least gradually try to increase the values ​​until you find the values ​​that do not increase your perf but that made it fall(he can be a long process).  If you have always stuttering in the campaign of Velen i hardly recommend to use this mod « ToussaintGrass in Velen and Novigrad »i can not explain why but for me and other users it hardly decrease the stuttering and make a better realistic grass (for my eyes). But be careful personal i can't tweak the grass more than 2.3 because i have issus for loading the grass when i go past this value.



Installations:

-Download and extract the mod modAioNPCforIDD and put in to your mod Folder (make the same for options file).




uninstall:

-Just remove the file from your mod folder (make the same for option file).




option files:


-ModNPCbug: it's just for the other modders, this folder contains texture who bugs.

-modTssainLOD: add just a few increase lod texture for architecture, decoration and vegetation. It's just an option file because the result is really low and you must set the priority to modA_HDReworkedProject for keeping is own textures.

-modshadowAll: add the increase of the LOD for shadows of human Npc but for certain user it's seem that this mod can cause issue. Personally i have test while 6-7 hours and i didn't have any issus. So it's up to you to see if this mod cause crash for you or not.

AND if you see a file CORRUPT make me ascreenshot !
