Could you make a scar only version? I love the face retexture as a whole but that conflicts with another mod I have, so a scar-only version would be cool because I love the texture, it's just like I imagined it in the books
I've read all the books, I was a big fan of Ciri (except when she was with The Rats), and I don't understand why you imply this appearance to be more accurate than the game's version. It looks really good, don't get me wrong, it might be great on a replay for a fresh look, but I don't understand your frustration with the vanilla version. Also, scars do not look that way after many years. They look slightly purple, they close a bit more, maybe protrude a bit, but this is way too intense. It looks more like a very recent wound. One thing I really like about this mod however, specifically on the first image, is that she's reminiscent of her younger self from the opening of the game.
Love the scar. Although, I'm not sure if it should still be that opened. After that much time, you'd think that the scar healed substantially. In the photos it still looks like it's kind of fresh (though the books do say that her face is disfigured, so maybe it is really lore accurate after all). This isn't a complaint btw, just a remark. Really good mod!
Finally saw it in game, and it is absolutely 100 % masterful work Alongside the Ciri Grey Hair mod (not the ashen hair one that is mentioned in the desciption) you get the best Ciri ever Bathsedah you should be extremely proud about this especially since this was your first project Bravo!!!
So I actually really like Ciri's vanilla face texture and am pretty attached to it, but I kept seeing people recommend this one, so I thought, eh, I'm starting a new playthrough with new appearance mods, might as well try it out as I'm testing the others, and WOW. This looks gorgeous in game. I was really torn and kept switching back and forth between this and the Lore Friendly Ciri face retexture, trying to decide which I wanted to use. I may end up changing my mind again, but for now, I've landed on this one. It's just beautiful!
Also, just going to throw this out into the universe--it'd be amazing to see a matching retexture for young Ciri (mostly so the eyebrows match more closely and so she doesn't go from many freckles to none)--but, seeing as baby Ciri is only in the game for, like, two seconds at the beginning, I know it's probably fairly unlikely to happen. But I can dream? In any case, the differences between vanilla young Ciri and Somewhat Ciri are certainly not enough to put me off of using this mod.
tldr: A++, would recommend, screenshots don't really capture how nice this looks in game.
I'm really happy to hear you like it! I personally love all the variations of Ciri's face I've seen so far, so knowing someone chooses my first mod to play with is very heartwarming.
I plan to make another mod for Ciri, since I learned so much in that time. I'll make sure to edit younger version accordingly, thanks for the suggestion!
In the game it is explained that the magician with whom Ciri traveled with the help of magic was removing her scars, in the book it is also mentioned about it, moreover, in the Lady of the Lake, during the scene of Ciri's bathing in the lake it is clearly emphasized that Ciri is very attractive with delicate facial features ( after all, she has elf genes) so this mod disfigures her a bit too much

For what I see to the mod, the scar is healed but the wound was severe very much.
