This mod actually decreased the strength of my crossbow bolts. I'm level 8 using the standard crossbow, and prior to installing this, I could one shot a level 10 drowner in water, and cause 4 damage to a level 15 nightwrath. With the 5x mod installed, that damage is halved.
UPDATE: Ok so I was mistaken about the nightwrath. I wasn't seeing the number clearly and it was actually doing 7 damage (still not 5x though, not even 2x). But still, it's only doing half damage on drowners.
UPDATE 2: Tried the 10x version and it only increased my damage on the nightwraith to 11 which is 2.75x, but I'm once again able to one shot drowners in water.
UPDATE 3: Ok tried the 25x version and it does 5.75x damage, which is closer to what I wanted in the first place. I'll be using that going forward, but you should still know that the math isn't working out to be what you intended.
Thank you so much for this wonderful mod, because enemies can now be destroyed much faster and not die at the same time! Good luck to you and good health!
Just adding this comment here if it can help people.. NO IDEA why, buyt after hours of troubleshooting, this mod was making the mods Firearms crash the game. Had to remove this mod.
Hi! Unfortunately the mod doesn't work for me; I have Witcher 3 GOTY GOG edition. Sould I install the main mod firstly and then (let's say, if I want the 500x version) overwrite with an optional file, or just should I install one of the optional files? I saw that it conflicts with my previously installed GhostMode mod.
I have the GOTY edition on steam and the mod was not working for me either. I FIXED IT BY DISABLING "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Elite Crossbow Set" DLC, hope it will work for you too :)
