Remove file from The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\Mods\modDnNew\content\scripts\game\player\states\meditation and use script merger.

Thanks, I got it working, but when I use this mod it completely breaks meditation: it no longer restores health or potions. That sucks :/

You mean remove the MeditationWaiting file? If I do this, script merger tells me it cant find this file and asks wether to delete the merge. What do I do?

I had exactly the same compilation error and your solution did not help at all. The error remained in place and prevented the game from starting. I had to remove this buggy mod.

Do NOT do this, it breaks Friendly Meditation irreversibly.

Because you have the Preparations mod installed. After each meditation, you need to craft unworthy potions automatically in the Alchemy section. Everything works great. I tested everything this morning.

I wish I'd stayed away from this mod.
Had Darker Nights and Friendly Meditation working just fine, until I installed this mod.
    Now, even after removing them both, then reinstalling, and merging using the blank space in the FM script, this is what I keep getting;

?Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\player\states\meditation\meditationwaiting.ws(83): Could not find function 'FinalHack_GetSimulateBuffTime'

Warning [modsharedimports]engine\environment.ws(30): Global native function 'EnableDebugOverlayFilter' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [modsharedimports]engine\environment.ws(32): Global native function 'EnableDebugPostProcess' was not exported from C++ code.
Warning [content0]engine\showflags.ws(11): Global native function 'DebugSetEShowFlag' was not exported from C++ code.

I disabled Friendly Meditation, game works fine, but of course, I'd like to get it working again.
I hope someone can help. Not sure what else to do besides installing mods from scratch. *sigh* That's gonna be lot of script merging.

You have to remerge again and do correctly.

This error would appear often if you didn't merge properly.

Just comment out the error (put // in front of the line of code) and it will work.

Is it just me or is Velen not appearing as an option. I've scrolled through the mod menu atleast a dozen times and can't find it.

Furthermore, when I try to click on the back button it won't exit the menu, I instead have to press the toussaint button above it to exit the menu.

    Any help on this?

The Novigrad option changes Velen. (Novigrad and Velen are really the same area).

Menus don't work properly when there are more than 10 options. So the menu design needs to be changed. Can probably fix it by having the regions in a sub menu, which can probably be done by editing the displaynames in the xml file. I'll see if I can figure ot out and post a solution if I do. Otherwise you can exit with the back button on your keyboard or gamepad.

How do I get rid of this mod?
I installed this mod, but I'd like to go back to just Darker Nights without it. I deleted this mod, but no matter how many times I uninstall and reainstall Darker Nights mod itself (+custom localization patch), the menu settings for novigrad, velen, skellige, etc are still there, even though they werent there in normal Darker Nights menu. Any help?

check the contents for the files you extracted/copied from the mod(s), compare, and just simply delete that content in your witcher 3 files. It's like following a cookie trail, and eating said cookies.

It seems to be not working properly with Complete Animations mod. Disables the mod completely, however DN works as intended.

THANK YOU. Now the ugly sunrise and sunset stages aren't a problem and being able to adjust the brightness as I wish immensely improved the realism factor which I'm going for.

I try to get Darker Nights working with FHUD and FMeditation....

Following other suggestions I also downloaded the Smoother Transitions Patch.

Now whatever I try, Im ending up with this error:

Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(38): Unknown type 'CModFMeditationConfig' for property 'fMeditationConfig'.

    Solved it myself:

Im using Darker Nights and the Smoother Transitions Patch, which also patches the merging conflicts and solves them.At first try I still ended up with a compilation Error:
Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(38): Unknown type 'CModFMeditationConfig' for property 'fMeditationConfig'.

I Uninstalled FMeditation and reinstalled it, did all the merges except for the one about "input.xml" between FHUD and FMeditation.
Its listed as a "Non-Bundled-XML Conflict" and it was there since Im using both Friendly mods.
They were working before and anything is working together with Darker Nights now!
Just wondering why adding the Smoother Transitions Patch did solve it (causing the Error mentioned above).

    So FYI guys :)Cheers!
