The 4.04 patch mostly affect scripted mod, using for example "playerwitcher.ws" or "playerinput.ws". If none of the updated script are used by the mod, then it's automatically "Next Gen 4.04 Compatible".
Well, sure. As long as it functions though, we don't have to be perfectionists. I don't see any potential for it to break the playthrough down the line. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I think the problem that might occur using the full Ultra+ with all Ray-traced on. Perhaps everything will works as intended, but one single thing can break.
Knowing Partoutatix, he will look to all his mods.
I'll look into it, I was afraid those filetypes had been altered by the update and might require updated tools before the mod could be updated, but it seems not.
It's not updated but it sounds like it should be mostly compatible with nextgen anyway if the only thing you miss out is a speculated potential graphical bug fix when running raytracing on ultra+...
I will update it eventually but it's very low priority compared to all the other mods that really need to be updated and improved to work.
sorry if you see this for the third time as for me its not showing up for me but here is my question has this been updated for next gen yet? just curous would love this mod to be in my collection
There is a conflict with Brothers In Arms - TW3 Ultimate Bug Fix Collaboration https://imgur.com/a/nAiKnuG The only way for now is to give Cheaper Runewright mod higher priority in Script Merger.
Is there any chance you might consider lowering the 35000 crown trigger required to activate that small tax incounter/quest in oxenfurt (that amount was written in witcher wiki as trigger point for that quest). With lego mods the most i ever had was 6000 crowns getting to 35000 to activate that quest will be very difficult.
In trying to install Cheaper Runewright I ran into the same problem that Chardros80 did so I decided to look into the archives file structure. It didn't seem right so I changed it to this:
with this change TW3MM installed it without problems or glitches. I was under the impression that files designated for dlc folder required this setup. It would also seem that this may be the cause of Myrdo's German translation problem, but I am not certain. Craft Alchemical Bases and Stronger Monster Status Effects both installed files to the dlc folder as well but neither of those had *.w3strings files. Most dlc folder installs place these file types here.
My understanding is that mod content will override game files so it seems that this will do the trick, but wanted to ask before the time investment to get to the affected content. I am setting up mods for a play through from start and have no saves to check (very late to party inspite of having game for years - simply didn't have the time till now). My question is will this work?
Thank you for your mods, they appear well thought out and made. This is the only one so far that didn't install smoothly first time. Looking forward to playing with them in game. Thanks again.
Edit: I did see your response to Chardros80 but "should work" didn't seem sure and I've a long way to go to get to runewright and was looking to avoid problems from the start. No disrespect intended.
I get this message while trying to install it thru Mod Manager:

Worked mod DOESN'T mean it's Next Gen Compatible. Only if it's UPDATED!
