EDIT: I fixed this mistake and made my version of this mod, including Vanilla with lowered Toxicity. https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3314 ***** This is a nice mod, but I think the author made a mistake.
Griffin Decoction (27) Taking damage raises damage resistance (up to an upper limit) for the remainder of the fight. +1% Resistance to Slashing Damage +1% Resistance to Piercing Damage +1% Resistance to Bludgeoning Damage +1% Resistance to Monster Damage +1% Resistance to Elemental Damage Vanilla: 1%, max stack 25 Modded: 10%, max stack 50
Max stack is what it is. It is not an upper limit of resistance one could gain, but a multiplier (ex. 1X25=25% max vanilla resistance). So basically this decoction mod now gives 10X50=500% resistance to all, which is not only cheating but unnecessary, you'll stop getting damage after 100% and resistance won't go higher than 100%. Vanilla resistance does suck. I mean you need 25 hits to get full bonus which is ridiculous on deathmarch. Something like 4X7=28(or 4x6) would way better. You'll get 6-7 hits to get to a maximum bonus which is 24-28% damage reduction. I made a light version of this mod, could share if anyone needs it.
*GRIFFIN DECOTION FIX* I unpacked your mod's bundle and fixed this (I believe) bug what the guy below talked about (he also made his own version of this mod, so it's for people that like this mod and only want griffin fix) by simply editing "Mutagen27Effect" (that's how griffin decotion is called in mod's script) 50 value to 7 so you can stack this effect up to 70% resistance here s the link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/j2ep7nkt24r6vao/modBalancedDecotionsGriffinFIX.zip/file
Love your mods especially this one it's not too extensive and work well with my other mods, we need more mods like this it's good to have a choice to make your own modpack so you're not stuck with entire overhaul mods like W3EE. We need more module mods like this
thanks for the mod, I have a question that is compatible with your other mod "Balanced Compilation"; that is, I can use the 2 mod without suffering incompatibilidades.finallly thanks for your great mod.
Well, slightly, yes :) The point was to make them viable. And of course it's up to you how you play, personally I use Preparations to make bombs/oils/potions one-use only, after that you need to craft them again. I played this games 4 or 5 times, a change was needed for me.
