I see that you've changed the background color for Witcher gear (at least it looks that way in the second screen shot). Which files need to be edited for that? Or are these simply magic items made to look like Witcher gear?
That's not a mod. If you begin a HoS or B&W-only new game you start with a higher level variant of the starting armor set with different stats.
BTW that variant of the starting armor chest piece can't actually be upgraded to warrior's leather jacket in vanilla, probably because the resulting armor would be lower level, The optional version of Witcher&Relic Gear Requires Master Craftsmen does offer schematics for an upgraded, levelscaled and recraftable version of the entire starting armor set where the boot, glove and pants stats are based on these dlc-only versions , and works for the HoS/B&W starting sets too(they can be dismantled into the basic starter set), though it's got nothing to do with this mod.
This mod is just a convenience for when you use my loot list mod that makes it so only junk (and misc) items constitute randomized loot together with the one that makes it so merchants don't buy junky junk, allowing you to immediately know when loot is worthless (unless you'd like to dismantle it).
I'm actually using the MOD you listed already. Was merely curious to know why the Witcher gear had the yellow background (magic item). I'm actually playing through B&W currently, but as a continuation of the main game, so wasn't aware the starting equipment changes on a new game.
Your MOD is self-explanatory btw (haven't tried it yet), but thanks for the reply anyway. I will probably try this MOD soon, and most likely in combination with others, as I personally dislike vanilla drops, loot, etc. I also very much dislike how everything has been categorized, it makes little sense to me. Hence the curiosity about the background colors, as I would like to get rid of those for gems, jewelry and such for example.
