WHAT THIS MOD DOES
=====================================

This mod allows for full customization of light and shadow variables of all in-game lightsources by groups.

Want to tweak the brightness, range or color of only the torches? ?Just adjust the sliders.
Want to enable vanilla shadows just for Braziers? ?Done.
Want your campfire to be bright green? ?You can do this with this mod!

HOW THE MOD WORKS
======================================

- The mod is off by default. To enable it, open the mod menu in-game.

The mod allows full customization of all lightsources in-game via a mod menu. Changes are applied in-game instantly. The mod features a range of customization options, and also an option to turn on advanced mod options (some of which are experimental). See the video above for an introduction.


- The mod has a basic on and off switch: Turn it on to customize the lightsources, turn it off to restore the vanilla settings.
- You can set whether you want the mod to apply settings (1) on game start, or (2) when instantly when you change settings in the mod menu, or (3) just on an individual basis for single lightsources when turning them on with igni.
- Each lightsource group is individually customizable: You can enable/disable each group and adjust their variables to your needs.
- Each lightsource group has basic and advanced customization options. See the list below:
- All options are multipliers - so you don't have to worry breaking all those hand-picked CDPR settings.

BASIC OPTIONS
- Light Radius: Self-explanatory.
- Brightness: Kind of self-explanatory too. Up this setting if you have e.g. mods installed that make the game darker.
- Attenuation: 'Dampening' of light with distance.
- Shadow Cast Mode: Enables vanilla shadows for the lightsource group.
- Shadow Intensity: Remember those sharply-defined shadows? With this setting you can make shadows as smooth as you like.

ADVANCED OPTIONS
- Color: Change RGBA values for the lightsource group. You know you want to turn the lights in the Passiflora red.
- Allow Distant Fade: On/Off switch for fade with distance. duh.
- Shadow Fade Distance: Shadow pop distance.
- Shadow Fade Range: I don't know exactly what the difference to the above option is...
- Auto Hide Distance: Light-auto hide distance.
- Auto Hide Range: I don't know exactly what the difference to the above option is...

AUTOMATIC (Recommended)
1. Download and install the W3 mod manager here: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2678/
2. Download and install the mod.


MANUAL
1. Put the modLightsourceSuite folder in your mods folder in your W3 directory.
2. Put the dlcLightsourceSuite folder in your DLC folder in your W3 directory.
3. Mod Menu: Put the bin folder in your W3 directory. (if you have the file modLightsourceSuite.xml in \bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc then the menu is installed.)

- Run Script Merger.
- Run Mod Merger if you have too many bundle-mods installed.
