It work perfectly well thank you Your STLM version really Rock and is perfect with the color option as well ! A State of the art visual when you combine E3FX Revisited and STLM My GTX 970 and myself thank you !! Endorse of course
I'm sorry for this question but I'm a bit of an OCD guy so I just wanna comfirm the following thing is normal. Basically I peaked into the d3d11 log file and I notice there are always these 4 warnings everytime I shut down the game:
15/09/2015 01:32:00:107 [01540] | WARN | Reference count for 'IDXGISwapChain' object 000000BE84280A40 is inconsistent: 1 vs 0. 15/09/2015 01:32:01:124 [01540] | WARN | Reference count for 'ID3D11DeviceContext' object 000000BE75A1B8E0 is inconsistent: 1 vs 0. 15/09/2015 01:32:01:124 [01540] | WARN | Reference count for 'IDXGIDevice1' object 000000BE83E55600 is inconsistent: 683 vs 0. 15/09/2015 01:32:01:124 [01540] | WARN | Reference count for 'ID3D11Device' object 000000BE83E5EDC0 is inconsistent: 682 vs 0.
And always these 2 errors when I first launch
15/09/2015 00:43:38:909 [01540] | ERROR | Failed to install hook for '0x00007FF8EADAF1C0' with status code 3. 15/09/2015 00:43:38:917 [01540] | ERROR | Failed to install hook for '0x00007FF8EADAF1C0' with status code 3.
Can you tell if this is normal and happens to everyone. So I don't have to reinstall everything again, installing 16 dlc packs is a chore.
If this is not normal is there somehow I can fix this beside reinstalling?
That's not supposed to happen. There's something wrong with your ReShade Framework installation. You don't have to reinstall the game to fix that. Just go to your gamedir\bin\x64 and delete all ReShade-related files. Make sure you don't have any leftovers. After that, reinstall ReShade 1.0.0, and copy the ReShade folder from my mod. Overwrite when prompted.
I tried this many times but it doesn't help, really odd. Any other solution? Great mod btw, even if it doesn't seem to be working properly according to the log
I do, but even after I exited rivatuner. The error is still there. I even removed the entire game and reinstalled everything . This is frustrating . One small note though. My resolution is 1600x900, I changed it in the config file. Can this somehow be the issue?
Okay, so overlay applications are not recommended to be used with this preset. Changing the resolution in the user.settings shouldn't be a problem since the config file is not related to the framework. The last thing I can suggest is to update your graphics card driver and DirectX. If the problem still persists after that, I really have no idea what's wrong.
Really thank you for your help. But I already quit my overlay application rivatuner in system tray but it still happens . My driver and directx is always up to date . Is there anything else to try?
Haha. I have some good news. I think my OCD is getting severe. I got so obsessed at the message that I went to reshare website to look for more information. After some digging I changed the name of d3d11.dll into dxgi.dll. And voila! The 2 error messages when I launch the game is no more. Only thing now is the 4 warning messages. Do you have any idea on where I might look for the solution?
PS: does changing the name to dxgi affect the mod in anyway?
Far as I know, you can either rename ReShade64.dll to d3d11.dll or dxgi.dll. There shouldn't be a problem. As for the rest, I really have no more ideas. I can't even replicate your condition on my machine. Sorry.
oh well. I guess I'll have to live with it, at least it still looks awesome anyway, except for inhouse cutscenes where places near windows are too bright. The mod rocks!!!
Speaking of too bright windows, I use your STLM version with STLM 1.0.2 (of course) and the windows during cutscenes (most easily noticed is conversations in the inn in white orchard where people sit next to windows) are too bright, to the point of blinding and fade out characters' clothes color. Is this an issue that you can fix or STLM?
Core clock +110 Mhz, final stable result at 1514 MHz. Memory clock +500 MHz, final stable result at 4005 MHz. Power target on 110% and overvoltage at 18mV. Average GPU temperature at 69 degrees C with a custom fan curve. Overclocking software: EVGA Precision X 16 5.3.6.
You can't just use my settings on your card, though. Every card behaves differently, so you should work your clock values up gradually. See what works for you.
yeah i know i had tryed 300 core 500 mem and 18 volts ran kombustor and she crashed ..but i ran your settings with kombustor works like a charm...damn your mod looks great i also have a 8 core cpu and 8 gigs of high speed ram too ,,,the game looks so much better i love this mod ...thanx
Good to hear. Try using Super Turbo Lighting Mod and E3FX Revisited v1.06 STLM. I say it looks way better than the default or even Cutscene Lighting Mod, even if you have to turn light shafts off.
Do not raise voltage for a measley 2-3fps boost because that's all you're going to get. Just raise your memory by 100mhz. Raising core does nothing for this game. memory does, but again I wouldn't risk the life expectancy for 2-3 frames. Better off just o'cing card and adjusting volts on CPU.
Hey... maybe iam really stupid... but once i install this mod and it was grat.. next day I started the game and it looked like normal game.. so it wasnt so dark and at night i could see normally... and i tried to reinstall that and it is not working.. and the other mod i dont want... so can someone help me please?
Wow. This is fantastic. I capped my frames at 35 the game looks the best I've ever seen it and rock solid smooth 35 FPS everywhere. The visuals are amazing!!!!! It's like E3FX fantasy but without the blue tint Colours have been washed out by just the perfect amount. You can tell your colours are accurate when the Gwent cards look right and they do on this version.
Hey Thin, Hope all is well and haven't talked/seen you on in a long time. But, I sent you a message.I know you are not actively doing anything with this preset now. But, I have created a preset which was inspired by your vision with this. It uses reshade 2.0 at the moment. You can see it here. Feel free to try and give feedback.

Update: I have added a reshade 1.1 version as optional file.
I love this reshade, but I'm running a GTX 780 (not much worse than the 970 I believe) and I can't keep it much above 35 fps even while trying your fps improvement tips :(
Hi, i just have to thank you so much for this AMAZING job!
Using this ReShade and your user.settings it somehow improved not only the graphics, but also the performance! The game become more smooth even at Novigrad, elsewhere so, even better... unbelievable!!! Plus, I've also felt the difference in the shadows, they are so pretty and I'm very satisfied with what I see.
To reach the 60 fps almost all the time, I just decreased the foliage distance from ultra to high and made a overclock of 70 MHz in Core and Memory Clock with msi afterburner (it keeps constant 75 - 77 ºC in my GPU at full load). Now i can even enjoy play at 1440p, around 30-45 frames with no signs of stuttering. And i do not use STLM.
From Nvidia Control Panel, these are my settings (PT-BR):

Question though, will this work with "the witcher 3 HD reworked project" mod? I meant this one http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1021/?

I just have to say thank you again, you made my day and my gaming! Below, 2 screenshots for who want to see the differences:
