Your settings made my game run from stuttering 40ish fps on medium to stable 60 fps with some settings on high. It fixed exactly everything. May you be blessed son

Does anyone have the original files for next gen version? How can i get them back? If i verify integrity of game files with steam i will lose other mods right?

Verify files don't remove mods or "not vanilla files", only those modified/overwrote files.

Ok thanks. One more question, if i use nvidia driver "551.31" would i get benefits from this mod? Or do i have to use "546.29" like u listed? And im also playing on DX12, do you know if this mod could potentially help on DX12 too?

I'm not sure if more recent driver is safe.
But I'm playing in DX12 and I benefit the effect of the mod.

    Thank you for the update!!!

    a small Q:
in my folder "The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt\bin\x64", there is only "PhysX3Common_x64.dll"
    not a "PhysXCommon_x64.dll" (notice the "3" missing)
so this is a new file on purpose? or a spelling mistake?

do we keep the original one? or we keep both of them?

is it something we can fix on our own also?
      like change "PhysXCommon_x64.dll" to "PhysX3Common_x64.dll"?

      or its something else?

I must add my 2 cents. I got "worse" performance with these tweaks on the Classic 1.32 build of the game.

While using, I had a few higher FPS on average but suffered from frequent FPS drops no matter where I was or what was on screen.

I tested both the latest version (v404) with the 2 deleted files as stated in the description and also the classic (v16fixed).
Both resulted in the on average higher FPS but constant FPS drops.

I also skimmed through other post and tested what others and the mod author said of deleting the 2 aticfx and the 2 atidxx.
    Similiar results.

So, I just deleted the files and readded the originals from my backup and the FPS drops stopped.

Not a problem at all as I have more than "powerful" PC to handle the game with 4K texture mods, LOD mods, and BlitzFX. Just wanted to squeeze as much as I could but, oh whale!

Just thought I'd let others know incase they are on the same boat!

Thanks for your opinion, but could you share some test results and of course mention what "more than "powerful"" hardware you have ;)

When I downloaded DLL Boost FOR AMD v404, Microsoft Security said there was a virus detected. Anyone else getting this? I tried downloading the previous version and there was no warning.

I downloaded it twice yesterday and Microsoft Security rejected it both times. I tried again today and it didn't complain. It must have been a false positive.

I'm a little confused. The file labeled as 'Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.9.1 WHQL For Windows 7' when downloaded is called 'DLL Boost Windows 10 NVIDIA notebooks-2842-v11-1602011423'. What should I believe?

I just need to test it on the next-gen version, because I had the classic version 1.32 installed :P
