I'm using the better call ciri mod, but I couldn't make this look where Ciri wears a hood work in better call ciri mod, what do I need to do to make this look work?
Hello Feregorn. Thanks for your awesome mod also could you please update Combo Hood Removal? Because that file causing invisible Yennefer issue in next gen so if you can update it for next gen it would be amazing. Here's an example for prove this situation:
Hi there and happy New Year! Ofc I will be getting to it! I plan to update my Geralt Snowboarder mod first and then come around to this. Stay tuned, because it's going to happen sometime this week probably!
Hmm, I can see that this specific Ciri Medallion mod changes some of the same files that my mod does.
In this case, I suggest trying out this hood removal mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3974) that uses an alternative method to remove the hoods and can help with your issue. Just let me know how it goes!
Hi Feregorn, nice mod - really appreciate your effort, but could you please make the same mod for Syanna? After the little red riding hood quest, the red cloak and hood destroys everything for me... I used the retexture-mod, but it still looks so terrible...
If you don't have the time or mood to mod Witcher 3 anymore, I can understand that... Then maybe could you explain to me what I have to do to remove the hood and cloak of Syanna? I then would make a mod and share it with all.;-)
Hello Feregorn! I really like your mods and you as a person (based on your comments XD). Does this Hood removal for Triss work with you Improved triss? Script merger says there are .Bundle files that can't be merged... Imma try oppenning the game anyway.
Thanks for the kind words mate and nice to hear you like it!
Yes, mods that have bundle files don't necessarily need merging, unless they modify the same files and unexpected stuff happen, such as missing legs, wrong clothes, etc (which won't damage your game or your PC so there's nothing to worry about).
It does not work with Glorified Triss , I mean I use dlc hair for Glorified Triss and I used your dlc hood removal , give your mod higher priority but nothing , the hood still there
Hey, I would suggest trying with this mod too: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3974. If that doesn't work either, then it could very well be that the creator of that Triss mod has done something to Triss's vanilla files that affects hood-removal mods.
It does work with the standard Glorified Triss face only changes. I'm using this one for instance for just the face and not the outfit changes and it works fine with the hood removal. Using the Main File from this version. https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3223
The reason why this mod doesn't work with Triss Glorified Wardrobe is because *that mod uses a custom DLC slot for the entire appearance. There would have to be some kind of DLC compatibility patch made to have Hood Removal possible unfortunately.
So, I guessed correctly then. There wasn't much else to explain it. There is one more (newer) hood removal mod on nexus, maybe it would be worth it to take a look if that one works?
Nice mod Feregorn, many thanks. Is there a possibility to edit the outfit yen changes into on those few occasions? I would like this to be the default dress of this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3257 but have no clue how to achive this. I would do this myself but have not succeded to work this out. If you could make such a version or link me to a good tutorial for this purpose I would be very grateful.
No I mean those 'special occasians' where she switches from her travel outfit into a dress as you mentioned here:
"5) I have also made a few small changes: b) If you enable Yennefer's DLC outfit, in certain occasions where with her vanilla appearance she switches to a gown-dress, you will have noticed that with her DLC enabled no change happens. Now, with a small edit I've done she will change to that gown dress when that game situation demands it."
I was trying to replace that gown dress with the dress from the mod I linked but I was not able to uncook/extract those mod files to raw files so I could not do this (I was following the instructions of this tutorial: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3498).
To do that it's gonna be a bit tricky, as that mod iirc changes a lot of stuff about Yen in general. I could help, but I don't have the time nor my modding laptop with me currently. So, I would suggest contacting instead Roksa (another nexus member/modder) who has great experience in doing those changes you are asking. ;)
This mod does not want to work with "Improved Yennefer". I changed the boot priorities - it did not work. The hood remains in place, but the torso disappears))

P.S. This is also a test for sticking down comments!

In any case, I will keep this in mind and release an updated and compatible version of this mod when I have some free time.
