There are 26 retextured monsters from Witcher 3 (not counting DLC) and don't know if I will do more, because some monsters like endriaga has strange texture's map that I can't modify to apply changes to game. I think it's the FINAL version, but I don't exclude the possibility of future changes if necessary(bugs or something like that). Changelog is of course in "Changes" tab or in main description.
Thank you for your support and hope you enjoy this mod
Mod contains files of textures, so it doesnt conflict with any other mods that don't change these files. If you use any mod that changes monsters' textures, only one mod can work properly and you should use priority for one of your desired mod (as i described below in post about COMPILATION mod).
Mod's working very fine. I have a question tho, can you recolor spiders and arachas to...not scary. I have anacrophobia and no one bats an eye for us really. I'm not asking for remodelling but maybe at least recoloring them might work.
COMPILATION mod uses the same files, but they are only textures, so you need to set higher priority for Monsters mod. If you don't know how, here are instructions: In " Documents/The Witcher 3" folder create new file "Mods.settings" (Create .txt and then change extension to .settings, so you'll have "Mods.settings" ) and add:
The vanilla gargoyle was for me not optimal, but your modded version isn't optimal too. On the one hand, you changed the base color, now the gargoyle doesn't look so yellowish, which suits a stone creature. On the other hand, you removed the green paint on him, which is reminiscent of a stone creature covered in green grass and moss. This suits a gargoyle, since it's a creature standing still for a relatively long time and this tends to make them covered in grass/moss.
There are 2 kind of Siren in this game: the more "ugly" with the black hair and the "beautiful" one with blond hair. Imho the hair should be more black with the ugly one, since this is how this kind of scare sirens normaly look like. greetz
Regarding to Gargoyle, I was thinking hard what to do with him and still don't like him like other monsters. I would like to change him in future, i'll think about your suggestion.
As to sirens, "beautiful" siren has normal, blonde hair, "ugly" one has rare hair and color is black and can't get more than this black.
Can you do a version in between? I already use reshade to lower some of the vibrance and it looks bad coupled with it. Seeing how this game is oversaturated at times a lot of people must be using gritty reshades so i guess this would help them too.
Unfortunately, it would take a lot of time, because every element has different values and i don't have much time to do two versions at once. I will think about it during not-done monsters' projects, maybe I can compromise. Do you use yours reshade or the one released on Nexus? I could check how my mod looks like with reshade.
I can give you the numbers; on reshade 3.0 vibrance power -70 red 1.400 green 0.750 blue 0.750. I think we can all agree the game has too much vibrance on red. I'm a detail guy also and 27 inch monitor helps me notice them more.

But maybe some one else knows for sure whether you can we can merge this mod without loosing textures?
So I thought: Why not test some old witcher 3 mod questions?
Anyway, I tested this with trolls and it seems this mod does not work if merged with others.
