    Rest in peace ramccoid.

Unfortunately, by itself, AQUA now only partially works in Next-Gen (the ugly white foam overlay texture which CDPR added is still everywhere).  However, you can make it look the way ramccoid originally intended (like the screenshots on this page, the way it looked in W3 Classic) by first installing Enhanced Water by WT3WD and then installing AQUA with higher priority.

Enhanced Water is an excellent alternative water mod which is being actively developed for Next-Gen, basically the spiritual successor to AQUA, in my mind.  However, used together, EW will get rid of the foam and I have confirmed in WolvenKit that basically all the other textures will get overwritten by AQUA (and then some! AQUA is still a very complete mod!)  It's nice to have options.  Happy sailing/swimming!

      1. You commented this on my birthday, which is a "gift" I don't intended to have. Thanks for the help.
      2. I tried, and it DOES look like the classic W3 with AQUA. I will keep this option as a way to pay respect to ramccoid.

How would I be able to get Enhanced Water with the splash effect of AQUA?

The issue with TW3 water is not its textures, but its unnatural animation speed.
Is it possible to speed-up water animation?
Original speed is too slow resulting in a ugly oily, too dense effect... A small speed-up could give it a much more natural look.

You do realize, that in the time you first commented this (2018) untill now you could have learned all you'd need to do it yourself, right?

Using HDRP and AQUA. I give AQUA priority but it still doesn't show the AQUA textures. Help? Used script merger to set priority.

Why would you? HD Project does exactly what this mod does now, no point in having both.

HDRP turns off some part of the water reflection. Don't know if it changed it back for the new Version of texture.

For falls Vanilla and Aqua are good. HDRP is more dense but looks upper part of fall is missing. 2:19

May Ramccoid rest in peace, his mods were and still are exceptional, and most of them unravelled even to this day, 5 years or such since he last updated them (and for anyone wondering they work perfectly in 1.32 GOTY Version)

Did he actually die or are you talking about the mod? Also, what about the steam version of 1.32?

      Yes he died
And my version is 1.32 GOG GOTY, so i can't speak about the stream version , but you can install Community Patch: Base which unifies all the different version of W3
