Added a feature, that lets you hold a button to show the enemy level.
Navigate to your input.settings (C:\Users\UserName\Documents\The Witcher 3\input.settings) and add these lines to the bottom:
[Combat] IK_E=(Action=EnemyHudLevel)
Hold down the E button to see enemy levels (releasing the button makes it go away as per request) You can change the E to anything you like. (Its not instant for me but requires a dodge or a parry or a target switch to work)
Friendly Hud + Enemey Hud compatibility. It worked for me. 1. Don't forget to backup your files. 1.1 Download Enemy Hud 2.2.2 (hotfix) - Previous version of this mod. 2. Copy and replace all lines from https://pastebin.com/RFp3yNCv to modEnemyHud\content\scripts\game\gui\hud\modules\ hudModuleEnemyFocus.ws 3. Delete this file: modFriendlyHUD\content\scripts\game\gui\hud\modules\hudModuleEnemyFocus.ws 4. That's all!
Big thanks man! worked perfectly for me. Also the new 3.0 version is way better in terms of bar design and icon placement, you can download the latest file and extract blob0.bundle and metadata file and replace the ones in 2.2 version - still compatible but better looking!
NOTE: This is a merge patch for Enemy Hud 3.0.1 (12 May 2017) and Friendly Hud 13.5.1 (26 Apr 2019). It contains only the files that are conflicting between these mods. Do NOT merge this patch with mods mentioned above. It is intended to work alongside the original mods, overwriting their respective script files. Patch's name is such that it has higher priority over FriendlyHUD and EnemyHud, therefore game doesn't use unmerged files. Just place it your mods folder or use Mod Manager. If any of your other mods use hudModuleEnemyFocus.ws, hudModuleInteractions.ws or hudModuleOneliners.ws merge these mods' respective scripts ONLY with this patch.
More notes and known issues you can find in readme in patch's folder.
Yes, it is a viable way. The gist of it is that the files from this "patch" should have the higher priority than files from these two mods. (patch's name starts with "modComp..." so it should have the higher priority over aformentioned mods by default) If you don't want to see any conflicts in your Script Merger there is some info in the readme.
Thanks for this. I was halfway through merging the two together and thought, something isn't right here. Thanks for the added instruction of leaving them in the left pane of script merger as well.
Didn't work for me but got it working a slightly different way. I just replaced the files from the Main EnemyMenu Mod with the files from the patch. and gave the main mod priority over Friendly Hud.
did you manage to get it to work with next gen ? whenever i try and launch with it i get a script compilation error saying "couldnt find "GetOnelineScaler" ". know how i can solve that ?
Doesn't work in next gen, this guy must still be using 1.31 as many people still are due to less demanding BlitzFX mod that looks almost as good as Next Gen without the fps hit. Plus lots of mods don't work right on next gen.
Hello, not sure if anyone is still here or not but I shall attempt anyways. If anyone knows a little bit about coding and this mod in particular, would you happen to know how to or if its possible to replicate the function of pressing "E" to show levels, but for hostile names?
Say you press and hold "E" and then both level and hostile names show up.
It sounds possible, but I have absolutely zero knowledge with coding or the works.
