    Change Log

    Version 1.1
*Reduces Tawny owl and Swallow effectiveness by half for balancing purposes.
*Reduces the speed at which Toxicity decreases.

    Version 1.2
    *Mutagen Toxicity now decreases.
    *Incorporated Toxicity Speed Reduction.

    Version 1.21
*Corrects a spelling error that would prevent the Enhanced version from being installed.

    Version 1.22
*Updates the quickbms.exe and ICL.bms files.

    Version 1.23
    *Game Patch 1.07 Ready.
    *Includes food changes.

    Version 1.3
*The 3 tiers of Food and Drink will now last roughly 11, 13, and 15 minutes. This is to mimic the effects of eating a real meal that lasts several in game hours.
*The higher tiered Food and Drink will provide more healing than the lower tiers.
*Food and Drink healing has been greatly nerfed. It is now meant to provide passive healing while in between battles.
*Food and Drink healing in combat is even lower. It still supplements Swallow but only marginally.
*Swallow combat healing now varys. It can be up to 25% weaker.

    Version 1.31
*Updates the quickbms.exe and ICL.bms files.

*Made into a Nexus Mod Manager installer

    Version 1.70
    *Patch 1.10 Ready.
*Weapon and Armor Enhancements extended from 15 min to 45 minutes.
*Added 2 new versions to the installer that make it so that taking potions in battle is no longer possible. NEP (No Equipping Potions). This is achieved by making potions no longer equip to the quick slot menu (Except for Blizzard and White Rafford's Decoction since they have short durations).

    Version 1.72
    *Game Patch 1.12 Ready.

    Version 1.73
    *Game Patch 1.21 Ready.
*Fixed it so that Food and Drink apply separate healing effects.

Thanks for this mod, it is really better to have potions last longer than in the base game.

I have some conflicts with BiA, I think that your mod should have priority, but can you confirm this please?

Also, if I can suggest a little improvement, instead of having multiple downloadable files, it would probably be better to have an in-game configuration menu and set individua preferences there.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure what BiA is and I'm currently not playing W3. I believe with some of the tools/utilities available you can check for conflicts and merge conflicting files. If both mods are making an edit that's actually conflicting then you might want to allow mine, but just use your best judgement.

Making an in-game configuration sounds nice but I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to the thousands of files this game has. I'm not even sure when or if I plan to play it again. Best of luck!

Just trying to get back to the game after the next-gen update, stumbled on this mod and looks great! Just some questions tho before I actually try it (still modding the game LOL):
What is the vanilla toxicity drop rate? Kinda want to see the comparison like you did for item durations
And also does the adjusted rate work with meditation and related skills?
Thank you for updating the mod to next-gen!

Toxicity decreases at about roughly 1/5, to 1/10 the speed it does in the base game. That depends on which version of the mod you're using, W2PL or W2PLE. There are 3 upgrades to every potion, that's why I have the potion length listed as 5-10 minutes Base 5 min, upgraded 7.5 min, and final upgrade length 10 min. Potion effects are lowered to account for the increase in their length. Skills and/or mutations will alter their effects. I don't remember meditation being a thing in W3, so if it is a mod, I'm not sure how well they'd play together. But, if you're proficient with the various tools on this site you can set which mod has priority, or even merge such conflicts if they exist.

Yes, sorry it took so long. I've been out of the Witcher 3 modding scene for far too long.

Hello, I wrote that the old version of your mod removes Raynald's Philter. Did you fix it?

I see Reinald's Philtre in the files so it should work. It looks to be a quest item, so I didn't make any changes to it.

After looking at the old files and the new ones, I see there was definitely an update to how Reinald's Philtre worked. Anyways, this shouldn't be an issue anymore.

was this by your design or a mistake?

No, I didn't make any edits to the Wolven Hour potion. According to the Wiki it is a potion automatically given in a new game to be used only once. You can read about it here...

I see some people saying this does work for Next Gen and some saying it does not.  The former's reasoning is that the effects of the mod are functioning.  The latter's reasoning is that because of the files changed by the mod, it undoes the potion and/or food changes that Next Gen (patch 4.0) introduced.  Dunno who is right.  However, what I do know is that when I use the mod, it doesn't matter whether or not the changes are undone because the mod's effects are still there.  So, at worst, it works like the mod undoes the Next Gen potion and food changes and then overwrites the pre-Next Gen state of those with the mod's own version.  We still end up with the mod working and all the other Next Gen improvements working.

I'm in the side of when a mod contains outdated files or undoes the Next Gen feature, then the mod is not Next Gen compatible.

When using this mod on NextGen, Raynald's Philter disappears
