You need to uncook the game. That will generate you like another copy of the game and from there you will get the "base" folder. Once done, you can start to merge mods xD Easy, isn't it?
what!!!!? it makes a second install? why in the seven infernal hells would i want the game installed twice? that seems shady
all i want to do is merge some textures and the first thing i encounter when i download this is a password req considering i have thousands of mods/tools downloaded from the nexus for dozens of games and have never encountered such a thing that set alarm bells ringing and now i find out it wants to screw with my system and no doubt break something important....think i will pass on this it just does not feel right
I reached the modlimit of the modlimit. This really helped me condense my mods down and allow me to add more textures. Thank you for this. Extremely useful for an obsessive modlist.
To be sure I well-understand how it works and don't make any mistakes:
The tool have to uncook the Mods files to do its job but does it delete them automatically after merging or do I have to do it manually ? i.e. Can I delete the heavy folder with uncooked files and the original mods that have been merged ?
So I merged all my texture mods, "Geralt's," as well as the "HDReworked (three folders)" and all of Yen's...now none of them work and the game is running in Vanilla. I see my custom named merged folders, along with all of the content, so no idea why it doesn't work. Is it because I choose to discard obsolete TGAs and cache files?
Good tool. It merges texture mods that have errors in Witcher3ModMerger log. The mods that do have errors will not be merged correctly and you will see the effect in game. For me W3MM was having trouble merging Eye textures. So I merged those mods with this tool instead.
When selecting your mods to merge it's a top down priority. The mod below takes priority over the one above it. Here is my merge:

just copy the mod file to \The Witcher 3\bin\x64 and paste it there and run it. You're done.
First thank you for your tool !

EDIT: Nevermind, I'll just use another tool...
