The OG and still one of the best.  Still working in Next-Gen/4.0+

      • this isn't a retexture mod.  It reclassifies the KM armor as "Witcher" which allows dyes to be used.  CDPR already included everything in the vanilla resources to make dyes work with this armor, they just chose not to enable it - as the mod author has stated elsewhere
      • retexture mods will break this.  Any mod which includes a Kaer Morhen Armor retexture (be it texture only, or mesh edits + texture edits) will break this mod.  The only way to make it work again is to disable those other mods (if retexture only) or delete/rename those other mods' texture.cache files in their respective modFolderName\content folders (if a mesh + texture mod, e.g. "Killing Monsters Armour")
      • this will work "out of the box" with other mods which ONLY edit meshes.  e.g. "E3 (Fitting) Boots Pants and Gloves," "Starting Armor No Hook or Pendant," etc.

Wow! Is that possible to make some more armor dyable? Like redanian halabardier, shirts and let's say this wedding dress, temerian armor?

Seconded, if " Dye mechanic " could be added to other armors it would give so many variation options.

Haha, I wish. I did experiment by changing the quality of some non-Witcher armours to Witcher but the dyes didn't work. It seems the starting armour textures were updated to accept dyes but they forgot to reclassify the armour as Witcher gear as only Witcher gear can have dyes applied. Dyes can only be applied to armour that have special textures setup, i.e. one for each colour I think. So only Kaer Morhen, Feline, Ursine, Wolf, Griffin, Viper and Manticore Witcher armour sets can be dyed to my knowledge. That's why texture mods applied to Witcher armour break the dye system of those Witcher armours.

Yeah I figured that's how they set it up. Oh well, also could you look up a vanilla bug since you're looking into dyes? Wolf tier 1,2,3 do not have Dye system "attached" to it, meaning I'm able to only Dye Grandmaster level- Wolven gear (DLC Gear) Don't know why they didn't include the first 3 tiers.

Well that's a shame but your mod is more then great!
      I have to ask though...
I always felt like starting gear should be witcher's armor... could you make un-upgraded version of kaer morhen jacket, trousers, shoes, gloves and swords a witcher stuff?

It couls share benefits from being witcher armor and scall to your level with another mod on nexus page... please!

      RE: Marth77
I'll check that Tiers 1 thru 4 of the Wolven armour can be dyed, I'm pretty sure it works on my game.

EDIT: Definitely working on my game: http://i.imgur.com/PsEUsVf.jpg. Not sure I can help you.

      RE: TheBearPL
Not exactly sure what you mean by un-upgraded. By definition this mod changes the Kaer Morhen chest, Hunting pants, boots and gloves to Witcher class gear. I'm pretty sure you can still use levelling mods with this mod.

Kaer Morhen armor (unupgraded), hunting gloves\ boots\ trousers are marked as "common" type of armor. Could you make them "witcher" armor? And starting swords (witcher silver sword, and witcher steel sword are not marked as "witcher" but "common")? Is that possible?

@Corbin- Sorry for the trouble, must be some bug with my mods\game then. I thought it was a bug since I was able to dye my Grandmaster tier wolf gear but not the previous tiers. Weird. Thanks anyway!
