Nice mod. It sorts yet another of those TW3 niggles that really got under my skin!
Just a quick note for anyone downloading this if you also have modMutagenNGPfix, which sorts out mutagens not stacking in the inventory and losing mutagens when starting a new game plus.
It will conflict badly with this mod and needs script merger.
You will get 36 unresolved conflicts. At each conflict select lines from both mods.
Your merge will have 36 pairs of lines ending as below...
stacked"="100" price"="#" ; # is the mutagen value from this mod.
If you don't run script merger you will end up with only one of each type of mutagen in your inventory.
With that slight edit it will work fine in NG+. I use version 1.32 Steam.
I really like this mod but sadly it doesn't work. Just tried it with an herbalist in Novigrad and all my Mutagens have still their vanilla value. Couldn't have made a mistake installing it, I put it in the mod folder and ran the script merger.
This mod does not contain any scripts, so running a script merger is superfluous at best, and may actually break something, so try installing it manually.
Aside from that, I can't really say anything other than "works for me". I can't think of any reason why it should not work for you save having some other mod installed that overrides the changes of this one.
I have a mod that changes the attributes of trophies, but apart from that I can't think of any mod that could conflict with it. The only other thing I can think of could be some kind of issue with NG+.
EDIT: Just checked it. The mod works with a normal save but not with a NG+ save. To quote a comment from another mod: "Dear modder, the mod won't show up in NG+ because you need to include your mod change not only in def_loot_shops.xml in the items folder but also in the def_loot_shops.xml into the item plus folder as well so that it can show up in NG+. Simple thing to miss when modding this game because it's easy to miss."
Well I noticed an interesting thing some weeks ago, on Youtube videos and also on your mod website here - that people seem to have different mutagen icon designs. Some people have beautyful animated realistic cell-like mutagens, and I (when using Witcher v1.22 newest update) have this relatively boring design:
Would you be so kind to make a version which scales the vanilla values up? Like the lesser 20, the normal 3x20 and the greater 9x20? Plus lesser monster ones for 3x20 and greater monster ones for 9x20? Thanks for consideration.
I did consider these values initially, but decided to make the Lesser Mutagens more valuable as well, because you'll need rather massive amounts of money in Blood and Wine.
I'm sorry, but you'll understand that I can't make a new flavor of the mod for everyone who wants it to do something slightly different.
Nice another well-balanced way to give Geralt money so he is able to buy the 130.000-crownes-per-unit grandmaster amors at the end of the game (and the 20.000 + 20.000 crownes or whatever this guy exactly costs, you know this runesmith) at the mid of the game. This mod plus some nice Gwent bet mod to let Geralt play cards and win 500-1000 crownes per Gwent win rebalances the whole money system in Witcher 3 - into a normal balanced and working one.
