Could you add version of "oil charges 30/40/40,provide 10%/20%/40% increase in damage"? Mod like "Simple Alchemy Refill" require oils need to be refilled, this version will make higher oils more worth to making but won't be OP, whilst make increased oil charges skill more useful.

I know it's a lot to ask, but could you upload a variant version that make all oils have 20/30/30 charges and provide 20%/30%/50% damage bonus?(or just update Orange File) After test it in game whole night, 40 charges still a little bit too much(nearly able to cover entire battle in most cases), result Fixative skill not being taken seriously, maximum oils charges only 30 without Fixative will be really helpful. Non-alchemist role already get sufficient benefit by invest Protective Coating skill easily, if player wants get more and longer gain from oils, them better invest it enough. I will add an additional file for 20/30/30 charges with 20%/35%/50% damage. I always thought 50% damage is a bit much the time I did an alchemist playthrough in vanilla, but with other gameplay mods and so on it could be okay.
The reason I request oils provide 20%/30%/50% damage Instead of 20%/35%/50% damage simply because making higher oils much difficult than making enhanced oils. Enhanced oils easier to manufacture, so players who made higher oils get more bonus is more fair. When charges no longer increases, compare with linear Increase or logarithmic Increase, damage increase by index will provide more motivation to encourage player make better oils, sincerely hope you can upload this version. I think 50% damage is a bit much in vanilla game too, but it's doesn't even matter thanks to that ridiculous mutagen bonus system, 4 Greater Red mutagens with synergy skill= 225% bonus damage, overshadowed everything, so I use this mod to nerf mutagen bonus, make oils damage bonus more rare and important:https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3986
Not sure if you're wanting me to change the damage numbers of his mod, as it already has built in charge changing config but no damage change, or if it's just a recommendation for other people looking for similar mods. If it's the former, your best bet is to ask the mod author if they are willing to include that as a feature in their mod as I do not have permissions to edit his mod.
I used mod like this for myself, but i found oil charges 30/40/50 (combined with preparatons mod) more balanced than 30/45/60. Can you add version of you mod with this values?
Sure thing, I'll be off for the next few hours but will put up a version for that once I get back on! Honestly when I first made it it was pretty much just to buff the lowest tiers charges, and then thought +15 intervals were convenient. But I barely see 60 charges being useful, if not on the strong side so you make a good point.
Thanks bunches for this mod. there is another balancing mod for oils, but it hasn't been updated since 2015, so i'm very grateful you posted this! i always felt the oils were too strong after the basic level(especially considering you can find enhanced and even superior oils before you reach level 10! ) . I'm playing on Death March and the vanilla oils made it much too easy. once again, thanks! Endorsed!
