    Hello, I noticed a bug with the "Swords on the Hip" mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5028?tab=images) the scabbard appears in Geralt's stomach and not on the side.

      Same bug here but if in normal position on back the mod works perfect well done!

      Edit: Go to post section of Swords on Hip mod https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5028?tab=posts&BH=0 and use waysofthetounge values for scabbard along with sword on hip preset and everything should be tip top.

    So, after trying all night long, I finally managed to fit the scabbard of Iris the way I wanted. I made the following adjustments that I'll be making available to anyone interested. Keep in mind that it only works for Iris but not for the other scabbards.

    In the Next Gen update, these bulky, gold-plated scabbards are enabled by default.

    Funny request. Could you now make a mod that brings back the old sheath for Iris?

    Dear moder. Unfortunately I am not succeeding in adjusting the sword scabbard in Swords On roach and Imersive Meditation. Could you please set the correct values so that the sword scabbard does not float?

    Hello. This mod is awesome but for some reason, the scabbard placement is not fixed to the sword properly, so mods which move your sword (e.g. Swords on Roach, Swords on the Hip, Immersive Meditation, Friendly Meditation, etc) will cause your scabbard to float or disappear underground.

    This will be a long comment but I have added a screenshot album below to help.

    Using the following values, I have been able to get Swords on Roach and Immersive Meditation to work perfectly:

    Steel Scabbard
    Roll = 24.5
    Pitch = -334.5
    Yaw = -87.5

    The XYZ values will also need to be changed a bit. For Swords on Roach and Immersive Meditation, I used something like:

    X = 0
    Y = -1.26
    Z = -0.15

    You may need to tweak these XYZ values slightly between different mods, however I'm fairly sure that the Roll/Pitch/Yaw values should be universal.

    Also, some mods will have a limit on the XYZ values. For the two mods I used, the limit was +/- 1, so I needed to increase the limit. You can increase these value caps as follows:
    1) Go to "[The Witcher 3 Location]\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc"
    2) Open the relative .xml file (e.g. "modASwordsonroach.xml", "modASwordscampfire.xml")
    3) Find the lines containing "SLIDER" for your scabbard settings.
    4) Where the sliders go from -1.00 to 1.00, change these to -2.00 to 2.00
    (e.g. displayType="SLIDER;-1.000;1.000;    ->    displayType="SLIDER;-2.000;2.000;)

    Seeing as you're already editing the .xml, you can also edit a preset or create a new one so that you have these values saved within the game. The easiest way to do this is to edit an existing preset that you won't use. For this, all you have to do is change the numbers next to each "value=...". WARNING - the XYZ values within the xml might not correspond to what is displayed in game, you can see an example of this in the final screen shot. So make sure that you are editing the correct number.

    If copy/pasting to create a new preset, make sure to set a new preset ID number ("Preset id="1"" in the example), and you can give it a different displayName if you want (but the game won't recognise new strings and I don't know how to create new strings so in the example from Immersive Meditation, I copied a string from a different part of the code). You can then set the numbers as above and save the file, now your preset is saved forever!

    I don't have Friendly Meditation or Swords on the Hip, but I imagine that these will work in a similar way.

    hello everyone this is a awesome mod and have endorsed it and been using it for awhile now, Ok I just found the mod Iris Silver Sword and finally got it to work and now would love to add this mod to that sword. I watched the video that you said to watch to try and make my own mod and nothing it won't work because I don't know what scabbard you used? I thought by reading the description that you made your own mesh? I also tried thesabre scabbard 06. that you said to but that didn't work either. Can someone help thank you in advance
