Well I'm late getting this mod, but it is incompatible with 60fps GUI. By default, 60 FPS GUI gets priority so the bold outlines do not appear. If priority is given to this mod, then fast traveling to any location simply doesn't work. Nothing will happen when pressing E on KB or A on an xbox one controller. Shame because I really do like this mod. Verified the incompatibility through script merger.
Hi, i don't get it. Perhaps it's my english or i'm blind but i can't find the difference, the image picture of after and before don't make me see clearly the function of this mod. You are trying to make the markers more clear isn't it? This is not a critict only a constructive comment. Perhaps if you don't slipt the picture and show 2 times the same image with and without the mod... Regards!!
In the description you say its incompatible with the colored markers, but is it possible to create a version of this that could be interlaced and blend underneath? Just curious, excellent mod btw.
Looks like this mod also edits hud_minimap2.redswf, thus they won't work properly when used together. You could give Minimap No Direction a higher priority than my mod. Then you'd still have the outlines on the worldmap, but not on the minimap. In exchange you'd get the effects of Minimap No Direction.
But I'll also look into making a compability patch
Tried switching the mods' order, but the end result was no outlines whatsoever. Guess the two are truly incompatible. Or maybe it's because I'm also using All Quest Markers on Map and therefore this mod's compatibility version... going to test with the main file loading before and after MND...
Aaand turns out the AQMM compatibility file was indeed the problem. Main file with a lower priority than MND works as you described.
Shame. I would try to create a custom version with all three mods' features if it was a simple matter of editing .ws files.
I'm not sure if I understand your question: Do you need a mod that makes icons of explored/cleared locations transparent or a mod that makes all icons look as if he has explored them already even if he didn't?
Not sure if that's even possible, but I know next to nothing about modding the Witcher 3 and this is certainly not what my mod here is supposed to do so I'm afraid you'll have to ask someone else to do this for you. Sorry.
Check the second screenshot and compare for example the monster nests. On the right you'll see that they're just grey but on the left they have outlines.
Or is it that you also don't see any changes ingame? In that case you probably have a mod conflict (presumably with one of the mods listed in the description) which negates the changes by this mod. You can try and give this mod a high priority in mods.settings and see if that changes anything.
Awesome! It's funny it was always something that annoyed me in a sense where I didn't really think about it, but not having outlines on map objects makes them blend in a bit too well.

Kexikus, if it's not too much work, can you update it for Next Gen ?
it would be great! especially the compatible version with "all quests on map".
Endorsement for you, Sir. Thanks

Glad you like the mod and sorry for the very late reply.
Thanks!
PS: Possibly a load order problem, but this broke "Minimap No Direction" (http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1467/?).

Just too much to do in my private life, but it should get better
thanks for listening

Nvm, I had the load order wrong - my bad.
However, I do not see any discernible difference at all.
