Patch 4.04 now leads to the following mod error, even with the script updates provided by users below:
Spoiler:

Very useful for gamepads. Updated it to 4.03. You need to replace file content/scripts/game/gui/main_menu/ingameMenu.ws in downloaded mod with this one
MANY THANKS! Really convenient for a controller user! By the way, in Traditional Chinese, it would be like "????", and in Simplified Chinese, it would be like "????".
Cool! And for the strings, in general, Traditional Chinese is "zh", and Simplified Chinese is "cn" (but seems like Simplified Chinese is not included in the "content" folder of this mod).
Yeah, I think the w3strings utility does not yet support Simplified Chinese, since it was added recently with the Next-Gen update. But I'll try. Edit: Nevermind, works fine.
And forgive my carelessness, I didn't notice that there are some differences in the expressions between these two until today. As shown below, Simplified Chinese matches the original characters just fine, while it would be a little bit weird if you look at the Traditional Chinese version. I guess it's like different Englishes, people usually have their unique way in choosing words.
Well, my bad. If it's convenient for you, would you please update the Traditional Chinese version? The only thing need to be done is just switching positions of the last 2 Chinese characters of the total 4. Thanks!
Simplified Chinese - cn (matches well, no need to change)
Traditional Chinese - zh (need to switch positions of the last two characters)
I'm not a native Japanese speaker, but I can read a little. "Quicksave" in Japanese is like below. It originates from English and their pronunciation is very similar, difference is that it is written in Japanese Katakana. Quicksave in Japanese - The Witcher 3
Can you tell me how you encode Chinese Simplified (cn)? When I use w3stringsencoder v0.4.1 to encode "cn", it said "ERROR - unknown language "cn" found" and doesn't encode.
@teiji25 There are a few languages for which the game doesn't actually have a dedicated code and uses cleartext instead. For some (br, tr, esmx, etc..) w3strings replaces it automatically while for others (like cn) it does not, but you can specify it yourself:
;meta[language=cleartext]
When in doubt, try decoding one of the official w3string files and check what language is used in the output.
Linked Korean was "Quick Translate" not "Quick Save" It is now properly fixed + I just checked and only the Korean word for "quick" is displayed. There is no problem using it, but I would be very happy if you could update it.

thanks for the awesome mod
I would like to add a Korean translation here
I downloaded the template but I don't know what each detail of it means
;meta[language=en]
; id |key(hex)|key(str)| text
; English localization by woodbyte
2111729000| |panel_quicksave|Quicksave
In general, the abbreviation of Korean is treated as kr.
And the Korean translation of "quick save" is this
I'd appreciate adding this if you have the time.
Thanks again for the awesome mod. Have a good day.
I only see "?? ??". Can you post somewhere else and link? Thanks.Edit: Nevermind, got it.
It is now properly fixed
